I want to add some F/A-18C stuff (like Gear, Fuel Probe etc.) to the switches on my Warthog Throttle. The guide on the first page is a little bit outdated. And reading 71(!) pages isn't really efficient. Can someone point me to a actual good guide how to do this?

Would it not be possible to export the setting data to a file and import it again? That way, people with different vr devices and a good calibration could provide some profiles for import. New users can import e.g. rifts.dat or reverb.dat and have an easy start. Later they can still optimize themselves.

Alles eine Frage des Anspruchs. Ich bin das erste Jahr mit dem Thrustmaster Hotas X für ca. 70 € geflogen. Schrittweise kam dann mehr bzw. bessere Equipment (TrackIR5, Saitek Pedale, Warthog usw.). Am Anfang sollte man vorsichtig investieren, wenn man noch nicht sicher ist, dass man lange bei dem Hobby bleibt.

Ui, mit dem Preis hätt ich jetzt doch nicht gerechnet. Für nen Hunni hätte ich überlegt.

Kann ich mich nur anschließen. Hab auch Rift S für normale VR-Spiele und Reverb für DCS. Beim Umstieg von Rift auf Rift S hatte ich aber auch einen WOW Effekt. Aber leider nicht so groß wie gehofft. Würde sagen gefühlte 10-15% Verbesserung. Ich glaub wenn ich noch keine hätte, würde ich auf die Reverb Gen2 warten. Und wenn die außerhalb des Budgets läge dann Rift S. Hat für mich immer noch das bestes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Ich habe das mal realisiert, aber wegen VR wieder abgebaut. Du kaufst zwei kleine TFT-Monitore. Die müssen aber groß genug sein um das innere der Rahmen auszufüllen. Oder einen TFT auf den du beide Rahmen befestigst. Die kleinen "Monitore" gibt es mit HDMI, VGA oder auch nur mit USB-Anschluss. Ich habe einen mit HDMI gekauft und beide Rahmen mit Klettband drauf "geklebt". Den Anschluss mußt du so wählen, dass er zum freien Port deiner Grafikkarte passt. Oder du brauchst ein Adapterkabel. Wie die USB-Monitore funktionieren weiß ich nicht. Vielleicht ist da eine Art extrene Mini-Grafikkarte mit verbaut. Dann mußt du in Windows die Monitore anordnen und DCS so einstellen, dass es die komplette Fläche benutzt, aber den Spielbereich nur auf einem darstellt. Mittels Anpassung einer lua-Datei "exportierst" du die MFDs bzw. DDIs dann auf die kleinen Monitore. Ich habe mich damals damit durchgefuchst: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89282

Das Kalibieren finde ich sehr kompliziert. Mit der neuen Firmware ist es etwas besser. Ich hatte das Glück, dass Miles im Discord war und er alle Schritte mit mir durchgegangen ist. Allerdings brauchst dann auch etwas englisch. :)

Ich hatte damals ein Verlängerungsset gekauft und Panik geschoben. Funkstille. Keine Antwort auf Mail und Handy war tot. Sachen sind trotzdem gekommen. Ich glaube nach ca. 2-3 Wochen.

For which aircraft? As I remember not all shortcuts are consistent in all modules. I've created and use a kneeboard command in e.g. F/A-18C and other without a problem. Also RCTRL and LCRTL are different!

Ich hatte gestern nach dem Post noch geschafft ein weiteres Model dazu zu laden. D. h. ich habe einfach eine AIM-9X hinzugefügt. Aber sie an die richtige Position zu bekommen ist mit der Steuerung echt ätzend. Vielleicht gibt es eine Funktion um sowas an einen vordefinierten Punkt anzudocken.

Hallo zusammen, ich beschäftige mich ein wenig mit dem ModelViewer2. Ich wüßte gerne wie man Waffenzuladung am Flugzeug (z. B. F/A-18C) im ModelViewer2 hinzufügen kann. Bisher hatte ich gehofft, dass es über die Args geht. Die habe ich aber alle durchprobiert und nichts gefunden. Kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben? LG Kalle

Ich habe einen Encoder angeschlossen. Habe den auch über die Software eingestellt. Die ersten Tests waren gut. Aber letztens hat er auch komisch reagiert. Muss da aber noch mal testen was das war.

This has been answered multiple times. Go back some pages. The key is to do it in the right order. A forum is not really efficient for such things, becaus the imported posts go down. Maybe can Holywood add links to the first post to the answers of faq. Or add it to his homepage.

Meiner sieht so ähnlich aus wie die noch verfübare Matte. Für DCS brauchst du keine weiteren Lizenzen. Die Lizenz "SimShaker - Wings" brauchst du, wenn du die Matte auch bei Falcon BMS, War Thunder, AeroFly FS 2, IL-2 Great Battles und Condor 2 verwenden möchtest. Für Renn-Sims mußt die die andere Lizenz dazu kaufen. Da kenne ich mich aber nicht aus.

Yesterday I had the same with axis for brake in Yak-52. Every time I adjusted an inverted axis of my pedals it was at 100% until I moved it once a little bit. Then if flipped to 0%.

This is still not fixed. I fly in VR and I need to assign joystick buttons for the kneeboard. Please help!

Bei mir hat es 3 Wochen gebraucht. Der Verlauf war aber auch merkwürdig. Es sah aus, als wäre mein Pakete nach Kanada und wieder zurück in die USA gegangen und dann erst nach Deutschland. Aber es ist angekommen und das Warten hat sich gelohnt! :pilotfly:
