  1. Sorry, i don't understand. A light overclock is only few more watts.
  2. 0.1Ghz? The cpu frequency impact on fps is only at 7.24% at 4.0Ghz. You can expect 1-2 fps lower. Purchase the K and overclock at 4.0Ghz. Easier than piloted a Dora.
  3. Are you editing photos? Do you need the hyper-threading? I suggest the i5 6600, run at 3.9Ghz and less expensive. Why so small?

  5. That depend of the stress/load used. Look like DCS was more demanding than this stress test. Good stress test for the video are not easy to find. MSI Kombustor is not very good. About I think the Gtx680 is 65% of the power of a Gtx980. The Gtx680 sli (in sli you increase to 175%, not twice the power) has the same performance than the Gtx690: http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2013-vga-gpgpu/13-Battlefield-3-DirectX-11-B-Performance,2968.html The Gtx690 perform almost the same as the Gtx980. 6. I use the 337.88 for my Gtx680 sli. Some of the recent drivers i tried were not good.
  7. They use a static benchmark, instead of a real life test. To test the performance of a cpu in DCS, used DCS. See the difference with DCS as a benchmark. 56 vs 52. Both cpu are excellent. It's like, test your Mustang on a dyno instead of a drag race.
  8. You can remove the side panel. I put a fan (low speed) in front of my pc during hot summer time.
  9. I don't think 2GB of Vram require 80w more watts. It's probably caused by the overclocking of this card. http://www.legitreviews.com/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-760-4gb-video-card-review-2gb-4gb_129062/5 I bet they were referring to the dual gpu (X2).
  10. Ok Without regard of the form factor (DDR3 or DDR4). Maybe the performance impact between different speed is small (2133Mhz to 2400Mhz (only 1 fps)). But from the slowest ram (1333Mhz) to something faster like the 2400Mhz or 3200Mhz, it's not worth the $36. You already have 7 fps difference between the 2133Mhz and the 3200Mhz. This is not negligible.
  11. Everytime i open this thread
  12. Why a mini ITX build?
  13. Read the specifications (memory): https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z170-P-D3/specifications/ QVL: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/Z170-P-D3/Z170-P_D3_MEMORY_QVL.pdf?_ga=1.131807055.1531498815.1443123671
  14. How Far Can I Go with a New GPU for Alienware Motherboard 046MHW? How far your wallet can goes. The P67 is a good chip, PCI-E (2.0), 875w. I see no problem.
  15. :D http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=161208
  16. True! $525 without cooler :megalol:
  17. They don't laught about you... Both cpu (i5, i7) are excellent. Try the i7 at stock speed with the stock cooler and see how it goes. This is what i see in the graph. Target for 4.5Ghz or less. Yes. You will learn over time. About the sound card #17: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160935
  18. If you want to overclock with a big cooler, why not get an i5 6600K? http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=12201110591&vpn=BX80662I56600K&manufacture=INTEL $326 vs $574. Specter, i have a lot of money, but i will never spend money on useless things. This is why i have a lot of money. You want to spend $574 in a cpu who already run at 4.4Ghz, with a big expensive cooler, to overclock it at 4.5-4.6Ghz. Got it? I'm sure many peoples in this forum LMAO!
  19. You don't need more than 4.5Ghz. Only 3 more fps from 4.0Ghz to 4.5ghz.
  20. High power output as nothing to do with quality. The best: http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=14130AC0194&vpn=SS-1050XM&manufacture=SEASONIC Corsair AX are made by Seasonic. cpu= 91w mobo= 45w Ram (Two modules)= 6w ssd= 2w hd= 8w dvd (idle)= 4w fans= 13w sound card= 13w usb device= 20w gtx980Ti sli= 500w (The Pascal will need less power) 702w X90% utilization= 632w.
  21. Tech specs/Compatible Corsair Liquid Coolers: http://www.corsair.com/en-ca/graphite-series-780t-white-full-tower-pc-case The price.
  22. Yes. Yes. But you'll keep your cooler for future upgrade. Maybe the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (the best for the buck) for your introduction. I have the Noctua NH-D14, excellent and totally quiet. Prolimatech is superior to Noctua. 2014: http://www.silentpcreview.com/Recommended_Heatsinks http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-pc-builds,4390.html Look at the motherboards. The SSD (850 EVO (250GB or maybe 512?)) with a 1TB drive. Gold certification psu only for power hungry video card(s). They suggest the i5 6600K because of the ability to overclock at the same speed than the i7 6700K at lower price: http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=12201110591&vpn=BX80662I56600K&manufacture=INTEL If you don't want to annoy you of the overclocking, get the i7.
  23. If you don't expect to overclock a lot, you don't need a big cooler. The i7 6700K at 4.4Ghz don't even need a big overclock. And yes, the Kraken is a beast. I'm not sure if that's worst the price. Look for the gpu frequency. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=144333
  24. The MSI Gaming 7 is expensive. Gigabytes Z170X-UD5, or the UD3.
  25. A gold certification. http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm http://www.thetechgame.com/Archives/t=5613293/power-supply-guide-the-good-and-the-bad.html
