  1. Hi SeaWolf, DCS use DX11 instead of DX9 for ROF. I don't know the answer, i'm looking for that for many days. Maybe it could be enough with some lower settings like terrain texture.
  2. Because DCS use less than 2 of the 4 cores.
  3. Are you sure? 3 aircrafts and the Normandy for $40. It's 2 ladies.
  4. Madara, congrats for your first post. Your post is great. What is your resolution? I suggest: i5 7600K (4.2Ghz) Gtx 1060 6GB 16Gb of RAM A Seasonic, XFX or Corsair power supply.
  5. Hi all, i received a private message from BuzzU (I think he waits for your comments): Hi, Would you please mention in the thread that I can't post right now? I changed my email address and it seems I need to get authorization again. I'm waiting for that. That system you posted seems pretty good. I just hate to go backwards. I have an i7 now. It's not OC and is just a 2.6, but I know I could OC it. I just don't want to mess with it. It's old and i'm sure it ready to stop working. I've used it a lot in the last 6 years and i'm getting video lockups now. I can spend $1100-$1200 for a system and get the Trackir next month along with pedals. The TM Warthog is already bought and being delivered Thur. So, i'm getting there. Will the systems i'm looking at run DCS on high settings smoothly? I can't stand stutters/slowdowns.
  6. i5 7600 (4.1Ghz), RAM 16GB, Gtx 1060 6GB, SSD 240GB, 1TB, $1029 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIABFS4F36812 No SSD 250GB with a Radeon Rx480.
  7. Cichlidfan means: The best is one SSD for Windows, another SSD for DCS, and one HDD for general storage. Because Windows doing things while DCS run and need fast access to the SSD too. But on your case BuzzU (tight budget), one SSD for Windows and DCS, and one HDD for general storage. A TrackIr is expensive.
  8. Yes, but only have 240GB (SSD) of storage. You'll need to add a 1TB (HDD) hard drive. Something like this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339&ignorebbr=1 But for $100 more, this one has the powerful Gtx1070 8G of video RAM: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883102272
  9. Show us the link and wait for the comments. Take your time. This system look good (16GB, Gtx1060) for your resolution.
  10. The best way is to build the system yourself to save money. Many peoples here will help you.
  11. Socket 1151. A i5 7600K or a i7 7700K. The i5 is less expensive if you can learn to overclock the CPU a little. It's up to you if you want to save money.
  12. Do you want (can you) to overclock a CPU?
  13. What is your resolution?

  21. If Gavagai can run a 4K (3840x2160) with a Gtx1070. I can run 3 screens with the Gtx1070. 3 screens is 5760x1080 (landscape) or 3240x1920 (portrait). https://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/lcd-panel-types.php http://www.panelook.com/sizmodlist.php?order=panel_id&by=desc&production_state=1&sizes[]=27.0&brand_family=AUO&resolution_pixels=19201080 http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/hdr.htm
  22. First, you should overclock your CPU at 4.2-4.5Ghz.
  23. Marduk454, what is your resolution? How many RAM you have? The Gtx1070 is powerful. The SSD Samsung 850 and 850 pro are very good.
  24. Yes, 32" is too big for 1080 lines. Even for a 27". I use 3 Asus VN279QL in portrait mode, the bezels are annoying. Take your time.

Je te conseille les Samsung (850, 850 pro). Ce sont les meilleurs (fiable).
