Same issue. Through the Kick Starter I am at a high enough level to get all planes. However the P47 is not on my list of aircraft at this this time. ??

The new 2080's are out but only the 8g no word as yet on the 11g's.

I have a GTX 1080Ti and have been using the 411.70 drivers for the last 2 weeks or so. I also do a custom install and if any else is loaded, IE: Genforce Experience I just remove it. So far the 411.70 drivers are working just fine for me.

That is correct. I tried mixing Mhz speeds and it ran at the lower Mhz, no matter what I did. I just read the above post. Good chose.

If still available Friday after noon might be interested. Meeting with my tech guy Friday to explore a new gaming rig. Right now I have a K4970, 32 gigs ram, ASUS MB, and a 1080Ti 11g. Of course the 1080 will come over.

I may have missed some thing i.e.: DM FM, prior to the 2.5 upgrade. I flew this mission twice, after upgrading to 2.5, where you are escorting 6 B17's in the Mustang, attacking an airfield just as 2 109's are taking off I also put 3 190's in the mix just for fun. Prior to 2.5 I would come in and try strafing the 109's I would damage them to point where they where smoking however they would take off and act as though they had received no damage and also could acceierate like a bat out of hell, have great maneuverability and always managed to get on my tail. After the 2.5 upgrade in the same mission I did my strafing run damaging the first 109 who did manage to get off the ground smoking and damaged but flying as a damaged aircraft, unable to retract the landing gear and making an attempt to land. Needless to say I showed no mercy. The second 109 was trying to get on my tail but my wing man was on his shooting him up and the 109 broke off his attack on me. Then my wing man and I just took turns shooting him up until he crashed. After that encounter I started checking around and the 3 190's had been shot down. Looking over my 51 I noticed that I had received some damage to the tip of my left wing, a cannon hole and some machine guns holes, but the damage appeared to only be to sheet medal, prior to the update I believe there would have been flames and the wing coming off. Any how thank you ED for 2.5:thumbup: and I may even be buying the Spit. and Mustang campaigns now.

Quick update, just checked the DCS World Updates and Current openbeta 2.5 is not available but 1.5.8 and 2.2 are available, so as I stated will need to wait.:(:music_whistling:

Well I just spent an hour trying all kinds of things, I have the 1.5.8 beta and if the 2.5 update from the beta is now removed I'll just need to wait. Also if the 2.5 beta updater from 1.5.8 was available then when it checked the files it would have a message stating that it is unable to update. So for now no update for me.

I'm getting the same message. Might be getting ready for the other update from 2.2 to 2.5?

What drive do you normally up date to? If the C drive that is where the 2.5 update will look first. From what you saying DCS is now on both C and B drives, you may need to direct the updater to your B drive. My advice is that until the update arrives keep both at this time, provided you have the space on each drive.

I also received mine on the 29th. Just have had a little bit of time setting up and adjusting etc. However I must say they are just great. I also ordered the soft springs, pretty soft with out adjusting the spring tension. Like I said above still adjusting looking for the sweet feel.

Same here, I too added the soft spring. Being on the west coast I will check my email the morning of 17th before heading into the office so I can pay and get them on the way.:thumbup:

I had my 5 year old TM throttle brick on me about 6 months ago. Tried all the TM's fixes no go, even hold the keys down etc., all this time the stick was plugged in and it must have received at least 5 re installs and the stick is fine. So I just ordered a new one worked right out of the box. I suppose on could sell the bricked one for parts on e-bay, some else suggested that. I have not bothered yet.

Crosswinds have been ordered. Message I received MFG is that they will ship mid July. For now I'll just work with what I have.:( BTW, thanks for all the input.:thumbup:

Thanks guys, I'll be ordering the Crosswinds. Might have to wait awhile as it appears that the next batch will not be shipping until July.

I fly only WWII birds. Right now I have Saitek pro which is about 5 yrs. old. My problem with them is that they have developed some twitching, also when I use the left side it will some times spike to full right and I must then go full left again to get straight, it really messes a good lined up shot :mad: I have cleaned the pedals as best I can with out opening them up. If new ones are the way to go I am looking at: Logitech G Saitek Pro., VKB or MFG Crosswinds. I've read the reviews on all and I am thinking either VKB, or MFG. Just need some input on the above, thanks.:thumbup:

Ok, thanks just back from vacation, tried reading through forums must have overlooked that one.

If I am correct those of us who had the Alpha for a few weeks now, what was released Friday is what we already have. My version in DCS for the Alpha is 2.1.0.4772, and it did not update.

Here in the US long weekend starting on the 26th. Honey I have a cold coming on, or is it allergies? We do have a beach side house reserved but maybe wait until Saturday morning to go? We do plan on leaving on Friday, hum, maybe wait until the traffic dies down later, to say around 7p/m?:music_whistling:
