During last flight my K4 engine seized (radiator fault) and i did succesful emergency landing. As mustang was strafing me i jumped out of cockpit and pushed joystick by mistake and to my great amazement i was able to walk around! Am i missed whole thing, is this something everyone else have known for long or new feature? Anyways, it is really cool feature, something i've always wanted for flightsims. Now if we only would be able to jump back to cockpit...:D

BMW 801 would have been wrong choice anyway as it's radial engine used by A model FWs. Dora and today released K4 sound mod exteriors have some similarities but interior sounds are completely different, nothing common between them.

Not much takers for "44" it seems. Is there good skinning tutorial somewhere? IF i found enough time at christmas holidays i may try to learn to make some skins myself instead of writing endless of annoying notes to other artists skins. :)

But look at this pic, you can see wing is actually green all the way to the root: Your last pic (upper scheme) seems to be from older japo book. In later book (from wich my scan are), they admit they make lots of mistakes in older book and they used lot more time to research and correct ealier mistakes to new book. For example, there is no such upper schemes as those you posted, in new one :) Complex stuff, eh? :D

This should be upper scheme of 330 255 and "white 3" of JG 77: And this for "Blue 16" an "Black 8":

I think there is few more early schemes on japo book. How about 330255, JG27 bird? Check the profile couple post back. Would love to see that one...there's quite lots of pics of that plane.

I've looked them but seems that detail pics from underside are really rare, could not find any better ones. ww2 b/w pics are almost always too dark to see anything detailed really. But i'm sure it's safe to say most of 109 /190 's were well lubed from engine to tail after few missions :)

Great start! I have couple of scan that hopefully help you finish it. Sorry should have post these yesterday. First, here is the profile of standard 332 xxx series camouflage and rudder scheme: And next from upper side, this is most probably used scheme in 332 xxx series. As you can see from earlier page pictures of actual plane, this is probably case with "yellow 1" too: Here's close up how wing root area was painted on early and late schemes: And lastly, this is my personal befielf: Looking again actual pics, to my eye this area seems to be exactly same color as tail, i.e. lighter shade version of RLM 75. This would make sense also when comparing it to standard camoulfage scheme of 332 xxx series. But again, these are my personal opinions and notes, feel free to agree or disagree, you're the artist :)

I tought last one was same as first so i didnt mention it. But 3 out of 4 is not too bad either i guess... My conclusion stay same as before. "casual simmers" do not notice or care as long as engine sounds like aeroplane engine. For us, who absolutely love how those old v-12 or radial engines sounds, we are not pleased so easily...:)

I may have few more, need to check my books/ebooks.

And couple detail pics to skin makers, i've noticed that while weathering is usually done very nicely, udersides seems to be bit too clean usually. DB 605, like other aero engines was notorious on oil leaking. Here is couple pics of undersides of "black six", i can only imagine how they were looking back then after few missions and not much time/interest to cleaning up...
