Thanks, got it working. Those original radio messages really adds immersion! Got one of the "boxcars" before damn Mustangs attacked us, got one mustang too before collided next while trying to save my wingman. I baled out at very low to avoid being shot to parachute as those yanks seems to hunt our pilots lately...;) Nice stuff! It was actually my first fight in DCS with that many opponents. Can't wait european maps with WW2 stuff, it will be awesome...

Wohoo, my favourite skin is coming :D For those who are not familiar with Günther Landt, pilot of this plane, was one of the most succesful pilots with K4, seven kills out of his total 21 was probably scored with K4. This plane was lost in mid air collision with Mustang, Landt baled out unhurt. By the way, middle profile is actually from JaPo book, Sundin's profile here:

Looks awesome! As rl A/C painter i especially appreciate details like matte edges on demarcation lines when reflection hits them, looks pretty much like real life matte paint does when painted on spraygun. Well Done! Please take this as an constructive criticism but in my opinion, roughness on paint at undersides is bit overdone. Now it makes paint coat looks really thick at some areas while it was pretty much opposite irl. But it's only my opinion :) Thank you!

I decided to scan some K4 profiles here, to give skinmakers some inspiration. Hopefully it means more great skins in future :music_whistling: First ones are from Krzysztof W. Wolowski's book "Bf 109 Late versions". I scan only K4 profiles but book contains lots of great G6/14/AS &G10 profiles and information, i recommend to buy it :) I'll add some JaPo profiles later. Btw, Erla canopys are painted in single color, usually RLM 66 both in- and outsde but "reflections" in his profiles makes them look multicolored sometimes.

Thanks for this nice skin! By the way, there was two G6/AS version(MT-463 and MT-471) in finnish AF, would you have any interest to make one of them if i find profile or pics of it to you? It would be more fitting to K4 because of cowling, canopy and tail...for now i could only find this little pic of scale model but there was more pics on some book once i find it.

There's probably others but this one is from Wolowski's book: Erla canopy is again RLM 66 in&out but wolowski used "reflection" in his profiles and that makes it looks like two coloured.

I don't think Bos could or should used as reference, but flaps causing nose down pitch is confirmed by real life test reports as well so i do agree some work is needed here. But again, its still only beta afterall.

Well, knowing my pace in kit building nowadays it may take looong time to finish it :D Partly because other hobbies/work etc. usual bs and partly because my interest of building comes and goes... Glad you found them useful, hope that means more skins in future :smilewink:

^Funny, after you finished Erla K4 i was about to ask if you would have been willing to make this exact skin :) I have this same aircraft under works in 1:32 scale. Looks great by the way! Unfortunately no werknummer of this plane is known...
