I wanted more colors than red for the smoke pods so I made this. Smoke colors: red blue green orange yellow white Works in multiplayer too. clientSide tweak, server mod not nescessary. howto.txt in the .zip file download .

Patch sound good. Some engine smoke from the p-51D would be nice. But other colors then red from the HWAR smoke pods for the P-51Dwould be great!

thx for bringing it up. I fixed it and updated the download. I forgot about the glassdirt and extension should be .dds. By the way it lowers the dirt in the corners of the canopy glass (more transparent). .

Added some extra changes to make the instrument panel more composed - changed the background - made bezels of the gauges darker and less reflective - desaturated the yellow line - undammaged centre instruments .

Thx :), the yellow line is default (prob. screenshot oversaturation). I only changed the gauges not the dash. To be exact I changed image p51d-cpt07.tga and p51d-cpt08.tga.dds. Changes: - added the critical color ranges in the gauges - added a slight bevel of the gauge indication on colored backgrounds - minimal color change of the gauge indication, from 100% white to few procent added yellow (to make it less blue) - made text within gauges fluorescent. I imagined radium paint was used for this, but please correct me. I like to keep it accurate - cleaned text and indication of image: p51d-cpt08.tga.dds - fixed some leaks of the alpha channels so fluorescent locations match the paint. .

Updated 05-05-2016 I like the gauges from this p-51d so I made it for DCS. It changes the instrument panel of the P-51D. About using a touchscreen: What you have there sounds great. I use the CTRL-button as my right mouse button on my touchscreen. made with autohotkey. How did you realize your right-mouse config, with autohotkey? ifSo could you please share it. One last thing is right press and hold.. I am very curious how others manage there right mouse button too in this configuration. Thx.

I am waiting for the F18 since 2003, could the F15 please queue up. And currently ED/DCS? is under hypnosis of a legendary sim. designer to do what others made and others make again. But I'll wait another, another year till wwII is over and ED\DCS does what makes it unique. The A10C is a masterpiece the F18C should be too.. thx cichlidfan
