How to make Wingman take off simultaneously?
samueel replied to oscar19681's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
I think he means that you could release the brakes, advance and return the throttle quickly just so that you start rolling and then brake again, then your wingman should trigger and start his takeoff roll as well. I do this when I start on the runway and when I see that my wingman starts rolling i start rolling, that way he stays close to me instead of 1000ft behind me. EDIT: This is only if you actually start the mission on the runway. There is no way of making your wingman follow you from the ramp and then onto the runway afaik. -
Have you tried it on single player missions? Some multiplayer servers are running with lower graphic settings, that might be the cause.

Alright, I have installed the beta and the Neck mod, and I can say it works fantastically for the SU-27. Take a look at the pictures below! I used the default snapviews that comes with the mod and the standard zoom level. No problem with seeing a head-less body unless you move your viewpoint forward a lot. Hope this helps! (Please give rep in that case :helpsmilie:)

Have you tried installing PeterP's neck mod? I don't want to update just yet (simply because I have like 20 mods installed hehehe) but I think that might fix this. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96116 It still works as of 1.2.10XXXX at least. EDIT: I realized the open beta is a separate install so I will install now with the mod to see if it works, I'll get back to you!

HawgsLIHV Fall Campaign for A-10C
samueel replied to shyjonathan1588's topic in User Created Missions General
I am also having frame rate issues (5-10fps) despite having a good gaming rig.. Looking forward to play it if you get it to work though! :joystick: (Rivvern, vi på MA borde köra denna på MP när den funkar! Har varit upptagen senaste tiden dock. Saknar att flyga med alla) -
Yes, you can speed up/slow down the time, use LCTRL+Z to speed up, LALT+Z to slow down and the easiest way if you have sped up time alot, press LSHIFT+Z and everything returns to normal speed.

When you see a couple of birds in Echelon formation and one of them starts diving to take a shit at someone on the ground, you start thinking, "Yep, he's going with CCIP". :pilotfly: Then you start yelling "BREAK LEFT". :music_whistling: -

I am very interested! I've flown the A-10C a few years and have been looking for this kind of campaign. -

When you drive your car and you're yanking the gear stick to the sides whilst wondering why you aren't turning. -
Looks great! Now who thought it was a good idea to put a lamp post right in front of the hangar door? :cheer3nc:

Why don't they add the new VHF AM radio for the A-10C? I mean, it was part of the A-10C upgrade right? (The radio with a bigger screen, looking more like the CDU than the original AM)

You just gave me the greatest idea of all time; I'm gonna set the GCAS/Altidude/Stall warning as my Alarm clock in the morning. Although the rest of the family is probably gonna wake up wondering who threw a phone out of the room.. :music_whistling: -

When you search for the Master Caution every time something beeps. (I actually did that when the microwave was done..) -
1. How long did you keep your nose up after touching down? if you are using the same technique as the F16 (keeping the nose up as long as possible since that will slow the plane down without the use of wheel brakes) then you're pretty much guaranteed to destroy your nose wheel. So if you flared and kept the nose up for a while, then the hard slam could puncture the wheel. 2. Were you playing single or multiplayer? Sometimes on multiplayer you can have the smoothest landing ever and still shred all of your wheels.

I would love this. To be able to have something like this on my iPhone is something I've wanted for a long time since I don't own an iPad. -

When driving the car at night and you can't see anything inside the car, and you look to the right to find the Flood Light knob.. -
How to modify the floodlight color of A-10C?
samueel replied to loo_ohs's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Haha I hate the flood light too, tbh, when I fly during the night, I leave the floodlight off, and turn on NVGs when I can't se whether I'm actually turning any knobs or not haha. :pilotfly: -
The A10's always fly in formations of 2 or 4, and usually with other aircrafts like the F15 etc. for A2A defense.
