Could someone tell me what the things in the pilot's cockpit are? they look like curtains or something. Could it be for when the pilot is sleeping? :) :P

I see...:) About the launch. The more I look at your little pics Alfa, the more I tend to think it's coming off too far out to be a Mig-29 (not taking into account -29M, -29K or -35)

In the previous JAS39, they were built under licence as PA said. It seems that the engines for the DEMO is just GE F414, no Volvo. But for the production 39E/F, Vovlo might build them?

Sweden, or SAAB, has huge experience in Aircraft engineering, going way back (pre WWII). Plus, alot of parts are from outside of Sweden, for example engine...

In one of them, the georgian Colonel shows Radar recordings on where the Mig took off from Gudauta, flew along the caost, shot the UAV, circled? and then egressed north across the GEO-RUS border...And by the looks of it, it is heading for Majkop-Krasnodar area. Closest MiG-29 base would be north of Krasnodar, in Zernograd (46°50'0.06"N 40°22'46.14"E)

The ER and EM has exactly the same burn time/max speed/range, ingame atleast. We've also done testing where we made a kill at 200km with a ER (using HOJ). Both Shooter and target was flying at 20'000m :) If you want to see results with the ER/EM you should try to launch from 30-40km at medium altitude, 50km if you're really high. Also you must get a Look-up situation for the radar, the missiles will have a much better chance of hitting then.

Vulching is totally legal on our server. It's up to the mission building to stop it (eg. by SAM network). If you land anywhere thats not your homeplate, you should not be safe. Ive been in situation where people land at FEBA on some airbase and then just refuels, rearms and shoots down whoever's above them.

The ER was put into service in early 90s', so only -27Rs and -27Ts....

The 3Sqn/<51> Stats works like this: Score = Kills - A2A Losses - Crashes - (4 * Blue on Blue) So a pilot with a 1:1 ratio will not go to the top of the list :) I dont see any reason for a 'bonus' system...

When flying on public Hyperlobby servers, do you read the Mission Briefing?? I just wanna know if I should even bother when creating my missions for our dedicated... :P

Nope :D j/k. I would guess though, that they will go ahead with the PAK-FA and having Su-27SM til that time comes... :)
