  1. Sherman M4A3E8 (76)W HVSS please :3
  2. Watch it be Harrier and people flipping their tables saying "I knew it" even though they scream Vigen!! :3 Speculation heh :P
  3. I still think its gonna be A6M Zeke :3
  4. I just flew in MP. No problems on my end. Smooth take off and easy to fly plane.
  5. Crump you want people to have a choice via limiting their choices to those that fit your agenda. That is not freedom. You are segregating people by saying something that is very good system is gamey to you. Somehow your reasoning came into a circle. People have ability to choose their fuel and ammo stats, so let's give them choice not to have any more choice in this matter. Who are you? A politician?! :P
  6. You can choose to take 3x rockets, 1x bomb and 50% of ammo at the begining of a mission :)
  7. I don't see how this makes an impact on any kind of normal fights that we have on our servers. We are not going to fly 8h to the target on an open server Crump. And if we had to, we WOULD take the fuel required for such a mission. We don't have to take 8h of fuel to flight over a bay that has bases that are set around 10km from each other. 40 min is more than enough:doh:
  8. Introduces?! Lol it was like that even in lock on. So it was way before u came on board. It was never an issue for you. You yourself said " its the pilot not the plane that matters" so why now is this setting available for both sides an exploit? :)
  9. Only you have seen it as an exploit. It is normal to set fuel settings for the mission at hand. It would be an exploit if it made the FM work improperly. But the FM works as intended. Therefore not an exploit.
  10. I had that once. I was waiting for the button to click for 10sec. Ive restarted the game and it worked fine. Don't know a cause or a real fix.
  11. A study approach doesn't limit itself to arbitrary numbers. DCS is in fact more of a study sim now, then after crumps idea :)
  12. Crump why do you insist on turning? The 190 can force a head on, pushing the 51 into defensive. If the 51 pilot turns towards the 190, he is toast. Because all u have to do is pull up into a steep climb with full power, do a hammerhead and keep on the vertical plain booming and zooming him till he is dead or you make another mistake.
  13. +1 Echo realistic≠historic
  14. I think that during a mission that is not "historical" (meaning recreation of a real operation, battle etc.) it would be impossible to take the "gamey" approach due to the lenght of the mission. Therefore the issue is non-existant. The only situation in which the "gamey" fuel load is taken, is a "gamey" one, in which bases are so close that you can see one from another. But I have yet to see a person that takes fuel for 5-10min. I usually fly with 40% of the fuel in my stang for those "quake" type missions and thats about 45min of my flying. Again, I don't see any reason for a change. If a server is hosted to recreate real life conditions people signing up for it will take the correct value no matter what, because the mission demands it.
  15. I still think this is an unnecessary feature request. To me more options the better. When we will have large events with mustangs flying cover for few hours, certainly the event will push high fuel settings even with the current system, so inclusion of a additional fuel system is a waste of resources.
  16. +1 it is OK as it is. Sometimes people want to fly some aerobatics and taking less fuel for that alone is a valid point. Not to mention testing of the plane's flight characteristics at different fuel loads. I just want to say. If it works, don't fix it. The current system is fine
  17. Show depicts some weird maneuver, but I think I've read that he later said that what he did was a snap roll
  18. Then he talks about another instance during the same fight where he let's the p51 drop into a spin, which he calls a inverted vertical reversment. So those two snap roll types seem possible.
  19. LOL. He says that to the camera on one of the shows :D https://youtu.be/YBLjYGLlklo?t=4m32s "They didn't snap roll with me, so they went off" :P
  20. So? Don. Bryan did it :). I say he knows what he did. It is hard to mistake a snap roll for any other maneuver. Same I think Richard Candaleria used it to shoot down a 109 that was behind him.
  21. Yep, the snap roll was performed by some pilots during combat. For example Lt. Col. Donald Bryan used it twice during one fight to shake off the 109 on his back.
  22. I have voted on 2. The map has nothing to do with WW2 aircombat of 1944. We don't even have planes to fly with over desert trying to to simulate Africa 1941-43. I am waiting for Normandy. The map is also too expensive to justify its purchase. It costs nearly as a AAA game and it exceeds the price of a AAA game in my country (120PLN vs 201PLN). I don't see the justification of value for the price.
  23. LOL. You are the one complaining about Dora turn rate and speed beeing to low. And brining pilot's anecdotes to the discussion saying that it turns way worse it "should", in your perception of things. Let me quote you: To me the Flight Model of both seems to be correct when it comes to turn performance. I have never had a problem with turning against the 190.
  24. And yet, at the same time that you are saying so, you are posting this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2572131&postcount=20 Now explain, because either you do not understand the dynamic, and do not see the difference between instantaneous turn and sustained one, or you are just misunderstanding what I have said. As YOYO said. P-51 has lower wing loading and for the same lift. So that you are going to turn at slower speeds better in the P51.
