  5. Hi guys, I'm having a ball, even so limited in view with mission building. No matter I'll work with what I was given. My issue is: When I insert a farp, do I need to add static object like fuel truck to make it functional to allow my sharks to refuel? If so, ok, what about re arming, what do I need? Basically what do I need to make a complete farp base work? Thanks in advance. Regards,
  6. It actually shows of having 5 moderators for DCS... Better|Off|Dead , Zach , ocarD , BurtonJ , mnickerson They are listed at the bottom right of the forum. Regards,
  7. Basically what I’m trying say, low ground level flying as a helicopter would require a real topo map. Well a meter elevation "topo" would help a lot, actualy I would think they would not fly without one inside an area that they never flown in. Since not knowing would endanger their lives. IMO Ground forces would not go in without one as well, lol. "N'uff" said. It would also dramatically improve mission builders IMO. At least bring back the satellite view. Thanks ED, please consider it. Regards, edit PS: building alignment is really bad.
  8. I’m wondering how can I, create a mission and place objects. I’m not seeing any real topography layout of the area?... At least with the old Lomac version we had satellite view that helped a lot… However now, this is painstakingly worst to make, move, save view, fly, view changes, exit and redo everything since everything is off, building corners show up in the sky since you put something on peak of some kind… I’m I doing something wrong? How can you insert objects in elevated area, without screwing everything up? Don’t get me wrong. I love the challenge, however how to do it is the question. This is the canvas that I’m working with: Look no elevation in degrees, well not enough to make a difference, almost nothing to work with, well I have color elevations... however not a real help I have to admit… Really an awful canvas, not enough to work with. Your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. "Moose"

  10. How about pressing the default box in the options menu?
  11. You can try to copy over the files from the english directory to the others. However, back everything up before doing so. I haven't tried it myself.
  12. My bad, I regress, this is awesome news

  14. I've just noticed that this only works via firefox, through IE8, no luck... Anyhow enjoy Different Drums :D
  15. Seeing day by day all the hoopla and the gaming community, developers seeking haven inside the console market. I want to thank you ED to remain true to the PC community. Sim market is small, yes, but you have devoted customers. I say, long live DCS and all the fruits it bares…
  16. Simple answer, no. However no issues found so far with the one ED uses. I myself I'm a big fan of steam, however, DCS is not available via that route, so far... Regards,
  17. Awesome screens as always Mustang
  18. FYI I’ve upgraded my old 8800GTS for a GTX280 on my PCI express, Asus P5K, couple years back, when the GTX280 was the “prime”, paid 550$ at the time. No worries it’s should be backward compatible on your PCI express slot. It should also say so on the box. Was it worth it? Heck yes :D I'm still satisfied with it as well ;)
  19. +1, Thanks for the quick responce, I'll give it a go. S! Cheers EDIT: Yep that will do, thanks again.
  20. Any suggestion on what software I could use to monitor CPU temperature under Windows 7 64bit? I have an Asus P5K with a Q6600. PC-Probe from Asus, seems not available under win7/64b... I have no AC at home and it's been a very "hot" week around Ottawa this week... Thanks in advance
  21. Happy Birthday Canada :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYATAWU3u_Y
  22. Thanks for keeping the startup cheat key as you did with the KA50, without it, it will take me weeks to be able to startup. I'm still using that for the KA50. To many buttons, not enought time to learn... However I do want to learn, so one day at the time. Cheers
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X6xCEsyncE Seems not that bad ;)
