I just purchased the Mustang today and was working through the training missions and this happened to me in 1.5.4.

I'm one of the few here that waits till modules are released (read: out of BETA). I have yet to purchase the MiG-21Bis (and the other BETAs) as I've been waiting for the release, but I'm starting to get the sense that it has subtly shifted status from BETA to release. I wait out the BETA phase because I have nothing to contribute and I like to have a feature complete aircraft (bugs are fine and inevitable), complete manual, training missions, some single missions, and a campaign (hopefully!) when I buy a module. What is the plan for the release of the MiG-21Bis? Is it already released and I missed it? If it is, what is included? Thank you kindly.

The latest DCS update changelog (DCS 1.5.4.54855) has this little nugget: I'll try to do some testing to see if this changes anything.

Could be, however I've never noticed a sensitivity to the alignment of the pipper before or range. I just flew a multiple Vihkr pass and it seems very forgiving. I'm very curious about the weathers affect on the laser, because as you noted the Vihkr doesn't seem to track at all, from the moment it is fired. So like MadDog says, it does not appear to be a wind issue, but perhaps a lighting/overcast conflict. I flew the same campaign mission again and, though I missed a fair bit, I did find I could increase the accuracy a bit by firing at a closer range. This became problematic however... In the end I found that I had to be prepared to fire two Vihkrs each run as I had no idea if the first was going to hit, but the second Vihkr did hit every time. This run is more typical of the accuracy and forgiveness, at any range, of Vihkrs in my experience:

Oh I did forget the mission details, my bad. It is the first mission of the Georgian Oil War campaign titled ATO A.03.4. Weather factors might make sense, though the overcast weather looks the same to me in all the variants of the first mission that I've flown. I do notice a large amount of side slip in the problem mission. The odd thing is that the aircraft slips in the same direction no matter what direction I'm flying. That is perhaps completely unrelated though.

There is one particular mission in the Su-25T campaign that I have trouble with the accuracy of Vihkrs. In this particular mission, my Vihkrs hit at about a 50% success rate. Whereas in all other missions I've ever played it is almost 100% accurate. The way the campaign works is that there are multiple missions for the same stage of the campaign and you never know which one your going to get. If I happen to land this particular one, I always know because my Vihkrs are inaccurate. Whereas if I get any of the others for the same stage, they are accurate as usual. Any ideas? I thought that perhaps wind is an issue, so in the mission I've approached from different directions, but with the same inaccurate result. I have a trk that is big and is giving me troubles uploading (due to missing security token??), so I've embedded a sample Youtube clip of the mission here:

I don't think you can cast a wholly negative light on EM waves (no pun intended). Life itself depends on EM waves... But yes, all forms of life can also be damaged by EM waves as well, either through overexposure or underexposure. They are a bit of a double-edged sword. For example, the human body needs a consistent dose of UV waves in the length range of 290-300nm in order for it to synthesize vitamin D. For those of us in the northern hemisphere, this is a bit of a problem since we do not get the needed exposure during the winter months and so vitamin D supplements are needed (many food products here, like milk, are supplemented with vitamin D for this reason).

In single player, I've found that I can somewhat effectively use my wingman if I equip a KH-29T and use it to spot targets for my wingman. The downside is that I have to haul two heavy KH-29Ts, but I usually use one for an SA-9 or SA-13 and just hang onto the second for spotting purposes. The reason for this is that you can't pass a target to your wingman unless you have it locked. The KH-29T allows a greater standoff distance while assigning locked targets to your wingman. I generally have him hold position just outside the target area until I assign him a target. Then, in the same run, I pick a different target, switch weapons and run in for an attack. I egress back to the original point and tell my wingman to hold position there while I get set for another run. The end result is a nice one-two attack each run from me and my wingman.

I fly quite comfortably in the A-10C and Su-25T with the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I've posted my profiles here based on the profile that Mike77 posted of Tyrspawn's. You won't be able to use the profiles in Tyrspawn's thread because they are out dated. The ones that I posted are recreated for DCS 1.5+ (though should work with 1.2.16+) and all you have to do is add the modifier's. You might also want to adjust the axis tuning to suit your preference.
