  1. I have decided (at the end) to take "rudder assist" and make it 10%; indeed, I can manage to take off without assist but never it is a price winner: with this assist, everything works fine (lol). In the meantime, I use now 3% assist: take off (mostly) like a charm; landings also pretty well: who knows: maybe I can manage 0% in the future......? Still improving: now (10-19-2017): rudder assist at 2% and doing well.
  2. Really a beauty!!!!!!!!
  3. "Sounds promising, thanks for posting here grunf, I don't really like this trend of developers only posting over there." I hate FB: never look at it!!
  4. Any idea yet if (and when) it will be on Steam? Edit: Just released, I read: that's a coincidence (lol): will buy it right away!
  5. In the meantime found the manual in the installation and found in that this switch: your explanations were of much help!
  6. Thanks: have found them in the meantime.
  7. Thanks spiddx: I had looked for the manuals at the place where the ED manuals are and in this forum; the Leatherneck manuals are in the installation, I assume: have to look at that. Can however imagine the reactions of probad and joey45: my son would have made the same reaction (lol): I am a bit older then most of you......
  8. Yes: is true; looked for the manual but probably at the wrong place...
  9. Thanks: there are 2 switches: pushed them both and the landing was pretty good and without rolling: now, I don't know if it was me or these switches...???
  10. Aii: was it a pretty stupid question of me??
  11. What I mentioned in a previous post, I have much fun in flying the Mig, navigating, throwing rockets etc.; landing goes quite well (sometimes with a flat tire (lol)) with full flaps; now I read in your posts about an aileron booster during landing: can you indicate what you mean with this?
  12. All clear, thanks!
  13. Gun 1 funtions ok: when activating the first (most left) gun, you hear the activating sound, the light gets green and you can shoot. However when this gun is empty and you activate nr. 2 or 3: you can hear the activating sound but you cannot shoot anymore.
  14. Had her allready but she was a bit "heavy" on my old system; now, having a new system, she is really a lovely aircraft to fly!! Exercicing now take off's and landings, navigating and throwing rockets (lol). Recommend the MIG 21 for sure!!
  15. 71 here and still very much enjoying flightsimming! just have a dedicated new system for it with a 42" ultra HD monitor: aiiii: beautifull!! Yesterday made 2 maidentrips without the Mig 15 and the Albatros and again seeing, what a beautifull flightsimulator DCS is: terrain of DCS 1.5 with 3840*2160 and everything maxed: about 100 and even 120 fps!! and this combining with the very realistic (as far as I can know, ofcourse) behaviour of the aircraft....... With such a big monitor, you feel a bit more part of the sim and in this way, it is not so difficult imagening it is real ( lol) and imagening the time of more than 50 years ago and wanting to be a Starfighter pilot... Now, the very nice aspect of it is, that I have a neighbour who is "only" 70 years now and who was indeed a Starfighter pilot in these days. Also nice is, that he too likes flightsimming and esspecially DCS with the A10C (waiting for the F18 Now, you see a difference between us: where, I like the flying because of the flying and also the not too complicated missions, he takes a bite in the complicated (and in my eyes even unrealistic complex) missions. An example is the A10 mission "in the weeds": your targets are some tanks, which are surrounded by SAM's. The mission is very, very difficult and I said to my neighbour "let it go and take another mission". But not he: it took him some months, but at the end, he visited us and brougt us some cakes: he had completed the mission!! Here you see clearly the difference between the "would be" fighter pilot (me) and the real fighter pilot (he).... Well, isn't it nice, to be able enjoying this simming at this age!!
  16. They (the "elite") are heading for a halve billion people (instead of the 7 billion now) in about 2050: see "Agenda 21" and the "Georgia Guidestones": so no environmental problems anymore at that time. However, It's not exactly clear what happens to the other 6,5 billion people....???.......
  17. Planned is the New World Order with a central government, central police, central militair, one currency and last but certainly not least one religion. This NWO must grow out of the current chaos (order out of chaos / ordo ab chao): because of this, the current (created) financial and militairy chaos is better understandable. What the most important factor is for this NWO may be the "one religion", which will be imposed on us and which is that of mdam Blavatsky and Alice Bailey (Luciferian). Knowing all this: the old "fundamentalistic" Christian belief of the Bible (which is the most worse thing for this people) may not be that bad after all.......
  18. What a difference!: lovely chickens now! don't eat meat; sometimes fish.
  19. Maybe therefore, they have recently announced Trainsim World (lol)
  20. Just bought the Samsung 28" / 3840*2160
  21. Still doubting which monitor to buy for my current system: - Iiyama 27" / 2560*1440 (B2783QSU-B1) - Samsung 28" / 3840*2160 (U28E590DS) the price difference is only about Eur 60,-- My current system is: -I7 950 / 3.07 - AMD 6990 / 4Gb Any advices? I plan to buy a new system and don 't know yet if I also buy then a bigger monitor such as 40"
  22. My existing LG 30" is broken and unrepairable. For the time beiing (until I buy a complete new system), I now plan to buy an Iiama 27" / 2560*1440
  23. Thanks cichlidfan: must decide in the coming time about a whole new system: PC and monitor.
  24. There, you have a point (with the 40" monitor): I'am still in doubt: buying the 40" (not curved, but bigger overall) or buying the 34" (curved)........... Edit: may I use this topic, to ask some more advices about using the 34" curved or the 40" 4k flat monitor?
