  1. Understand that you aren't going to learn the A10C in a matter of a few hours. For me the most enjoyable aspect of it is that you never really stop learning. You can go as deep into it as you'd like. I agree with Blooze.....take your time and focus on the basics. Try to fly multiplayer when you have a reasonable grasp of the fundamentals. There are plenty of folks on MP that are willing to help. Don't give up.....its well worth your time.
  2. Agreed!!!
  3. Is there a way to engage different ECM modes in the F15C such as AUTO, SEMI, MANUAL similar to the A10C?
  4. Thanks for the replies....
  5. Actually both BVR and WVR.......
  6. I've been watching videos and reading about dog fighting tactics with the F15C. The more I read, the more confused I get. If I follow the radar procedures set out in tutorials, I get my ass handed to me on the MP servers. Flying single player missions against AI helped in learning how to operate the radar modes but not much else. I've asked questions on the MP servers of various pilots that seem to know tactics pretty well but get conflicting information. That's not a criticism. I'm sure pilots have developed their own style over time. I don't mind practicing but frankly, I don't know what to practice. Is there a set of videos or a MP server that offers tactical training? I'm primarily an A10C pilot but would like to learn the Eagle as well......
  7. Forgive me, then "Bugging" means "Lock?" They are the same thing?
  8. "Bugging" Multiple targets The manual does not provide the key command to "Bug" multiple targets. The YouTube videos are older and mentioned the TAB key. The TAB key isn't currently mapped for anything in F15C. How do I "bug" multiple targets in TWS mode. Sorry if the question is a stupid one, but none of my research has been fruitful.
  9. China Hat AFT LONG will release the SPI from current target and return the SPI to the Steerpoint. Depending on the circumstances, it may be a good idea to create a MARKPOINT at the current target before you "release" it in the event you want to return to it. The last target fired upon will automatically generate a "Z" markpoint.
  10. Question for Any RW Hog Drivers/Crew Chiefs How realistic is the new sound level? The video obviously doesn't take into account what the pilot can actually hear with his helmet on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wALuNQPO3s
  11. Thank God those requirements were put in place recently......I don't fit into any of those categories other than mature....and that means old.
  12. I'm doing something wrong. The instructions say to Move 8 files into "...\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Su-25T\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures\SU-25T-CPT-TEXTURES.zip" file. That's it. There are 10 files in the folder. Which files should be moved. Plus the files are compressed. How do I move compressed files into a zipped folder? I'm totally new at this and confused. Can you offer any help?
  13. Be sure that you aren't accidentally shutting down your right engine. It had happened to a number of people. It's possible to click on the the right engine fire handle while on the briefing page. After take off check to be sure the handle isn't out and lit. It can be easily over looked.
  14. I share your frustration regarding the reluctance of people to use TS.
  15. You may have issues entering coordinates if you've made some mark points. Be sure that the waypoint page has been selected and that a waypoint has been selected.
  16. Did you try updating DCS manually? START, PROGRAMS, EAGLE DYNAMICS, DCS WORLD, UPDATE DCS WORLD......

  18. Hit the WP button for waypoint page after using mark points. The CDU will then accept the coords.

  23. Great Addition Can't wait for this.........
  24. Pumps are on. Throttle is at idle. During normal operation, I can shut the right engine down and restart it during the flight without issue. When the above describes occurs I can't restart. Doing a search of the forums, there does seem to be an issue with an inadvertent clicking of the right engine T-Handle. I'm going to save the track next time it occurs.
  25. Birds and intermittent system failures are turned off. I tried AUTOSTART as well thinking that I might be missing something in start up but got the same result. The only thing I can come up with is that on occasion I bring up the Briefing page to reacquaint myself with the mission. I was wondering if I might be somehow clicking on the right engine FIRE handle when exiting from the briefing page which would explain why I can't restart.
