Take the base apart and check the black O-ring. After some 9 months or so they become very pliable and tend to stretch. One of the sides may have popped out. If that is the issue, you can get a replacement from Thrustmaster or a teflon ring from one of the DCS forum members: HEMPSTEAD.

Has a poll ever been taken regarding this question? I can't imagine who wouldn't buy it. Falcon, as successful as it was/is, is graphically outdated. How many people fly the F15C only wishing that the sim had the same fidelity as the A10C or any of the other recent releases? A Western/NATO, SEAD capable aircraft is needed in this sim environment. It doesn't seem like the F18 release is near.

This thread isn't about managing the aircraft systems of the F15. That's obviously not a factor in a FC3 aircraft. BVR engagement is not easy to master....AT ALL. Like other things, the more you learn about it, the more you realize how much you don't know. Go up against these guys like BLAZE and STUGE and many other veterans.......you will see my point very quickly as you spin into the ground. I suggest you jump on the 104 Phoenix server, Air to Air. Make sure there are plenty of guys from the 104th that are flying......let me know how you make out. You may want to make sure there are no children in the room....there will be some cursing..... :))

I am trying to create a simple practice mission where once the first enemy aircraft is shot down, a second will activate. I've set the trigger as follows: TYPE: ONCE ON DESTROY CONDITION: GROUP DEAD (Dead group is selected in drop down) ACTION: GROUP ACTIVATE (Name of New Group Selected in drop down) The new group is not activating........ Maybe this is an obvious question, but did you say, "Please?" AI pilots are notoriously polite to the ground crew. It's been my experience that the AI really take care of each other and respond well to courtesy. I don't want to sound racist here, but I can't tell the AI apart.....they all look alike to me.

You need to maintain the lock until the missile goes active ("Pitbull"). There is an indication in the lower left of your HUD that will indicate when the missile goes active.

You're right, Maverick. It has forced me to pay much more attention to fuel management and that can only be a good thing. Although, I would like the bug fixed ASAP.

Even if all the recent bugs haven't been addressed, I'll give ED credit for responding with an update as fast as they did. I know nothing about writing code and can only imagine how complex it could be with software like this. I'm as impatient as anyone, but you have to learn to just sit tight. I'm sure there are very understandable reasons why updates, beta versions, etc. take the time they do.

I'm pretty much at the same point in my learning curve that you are. There was a time when I thought I would never get a kill. There's no substitute for time practicing. Paying close attention to those more experienced in MP has been a big help. You might find this link helpful. It concerns Falcon BMS, but of course the principals are the same.

I never noticed it before this latest update either.

The lack of fuel is a major problem.... I'm hoping these issues are addressed soon as well. The Eagle is virtually unusable presently.
