  1. Working on the US Airbase for fixed wing now on the ITJ map. Cannot thank the VWV crew enough for all the hard work they do. More demos to come. This is just a ground cruise of the base at its early stages. Getting the VWV AI assets added though for sure!!!
  2. Current progress on the fixed wing airbase. Still in the early stages, so please, I welcome feedback. If you have photos or suggestions, I cannot make promises but will do my best. I was skeptical at first, but its turning out nice so far. Because the field is smaller than Andersen, it will challenge your piloting skills a little and force you to think about what ordinance to take and how you want to approach the AO. More to come!
  3. This will be in ITJ 100%%%
  4. Any chance this bad girl is still being worked on? Been several years now.
  5. Bit of a long video so I time stamped where I am talking about each part of the map I have worked on so far. Very much in its infant stages, but more good stuff to come.
  6. I convinced Kandy after that flight the map was the cats a*s. I have been working on relocating the FOBs to Guam. Like I said, this will be a longer endeavor because Kandy will need to rescript hours' worth of stuff, but we now have the entire Island to play with. ITJ will be a larger and better experience than the last one. I will do a video hopefully this weekend showcasing a little of what I am working on. With any luck, when the time comes to release it again, ViolentNomads Cobra will be out along with the C-130. And who who knows, maybe even the Hun. I looked at the F-100 website last night and its coming along great. I expect to see it released next year I would think. Their website and tracker in the link below. 7. Add me to that team!
  8. Greatly appreciate all the feedback on what map to use. About to push out a test flight video over Guam in the Cayuse. I have moved the FOB's down to Guam. Tested the Phantom, 104, and F-5 as well. They work and look good. In short, we have a very long way to go bringing ITJ to the WW2 map, but had a good convo with Kandy today. Look forward to keeping everyone up to speed.
  9. Gents, downloaded the updated mod today but for some reason, had a hell of time finding the new additions. Where are they located in the ME? I checked under statics.
  10. For future reference to all who might be running into the same issue, we will be pulling these boats. They do not add to any gameplay value other than aesthetics at this time. We will wait for the Vietnam War Vessels crew to start adding riverine units to their pack so it eliminates these issues. Also glad to see some feedback on keeping ITJ on its current map.
  11. Thick skin brother. You gonna run with the wolves on this forum, you need to grow one. Just let it be.
  12. Could not agree more!!! What a great catch my friend! @Wags @NineLine Wags/Ninline, how do you guys decide what to pick for incorporating a free aircraft to entice future players? We have The T-51 and Frogfoot. The A-4C would be a slam dunk to get people interested in Naval Aviation. It would also give the team access to the SDK I am assuming?
  13. @Hammer1-1 @NRG-Vampire Gents, I am going to pull an early father Christmas here for both of you. You are both clearly passionate about aviation and particularly the Cobra. That is a great thing. You should both appreciate your enthusiasm to debate the accuracy of this free mod, but let's not turn this into a bar fight for such a silly debate. Shake hands and both of you look forward to this coming out. I would hate to see the ED team come in and crash the party because this convo goes off in the weeds. What I think would be awesome is if you 2 tag up when this is released and take turns in the pilot and gunner seat. I would donate $10 to hear the video debate in cockpit. LOL
  14. I have heard this on numerous occasions. I have to put the video together yet, but these were 2 of the several suggested riverine boats I was going to suggest the VWV guys made. I would much rather see these tied into their mod under one hat than having to go locate and keep up with an individual mod. I will get a video out soon to VWV team, but I know they are currently focused on AI aircraft (AWESOME and support this!) Looks like the future of the mod is healthy and would be wiling to bet we might see them down the road in the mod. Appreciate the kind words. I was curious how many others might miss the fighters. I would agree with you Kandy, Zipper and I spent most our time in the weeds with the helos or the Bronco. I was on Voodoo's server one time and they were rockin the F-5's. I feel like I flew the Phantom the most because its my baby, but I could see the WW2 map without it. To Kany's point though, there is TON of scripting on his end if we were to do that. I am going to bait him into flying guam with me on the WW2 map and get his opinion, but it is to early to make promises yet. Appreciate and encourage all the feedback the community can give. Anytime! You can add the aircraft to the WW2 map but the runways were small and meant for WW2 aircraft, not jets. You do not have a true paved runway which to me would absolutely kill the immersion. That said, not for the C-130, Bronco, or in the future, the Skyraider. Those could all fly from dirt fields. To my knowledge, there is no way to add trees. Years and years ago I vaguely remember someone turning the Caucus trees into Jungle trees. I am not sure how they did it but I think that mod dies many moons ago.
