  1. Spot on. You will not be disappointed. And it is continuing to get updated. The virtual pilots are outstanding. A page right out of ED's quality book. You will not be disappointed with it. I would say next to the Cayuse, Bronco, and A-4 mod this in the top 3 for sure. I only exclude the Goshawk because it's a trainer, but that is another fantastic mod at ED quality and a dev favorite apparently.
  2. No, thank you! Appreciate the quick reply. You and the team have a great Holiday if you are in the States.
  3. @ANDR0ID Any chance you can get this big girl to sling load APC's or Vulcans?
  4. @Cliffhanger31 Just curious if this project is still in progress. I for one know life gets in the way for sure and comes first, just looking to see if you still had interest in completing the mod. A few really excited people here.
  5. I was hoping for this as well. @BIGNEWY Any chance you might have a chance to revisit this topic with the super carrier crew and getting the VR pointer to work? I know you guys have a ton on your plate, just wondering if this has been noticed on the ED side at least.
  6. Greatly appreciate the kind words my friend and constructive feedback. Taken for sure!!! As far as the stands go, most that stuff on the field crazy enough is in game on the default WW2 map I cannot remove. I have had to build around it, OR, when placing assets around or on it, it disappears. Things are coming along well though. I have been late on any recent videos because my PIMAX finally crashed and burned. I purchased a Meta Quest 3 because I am not going back to Pimax (Long story for another day, but their QA is <profanity>. Coming from a guy who has been with them since the kickstarter days and owned both an 8K and Crystal Light). I lost my wide field of view and have had to become a FNG again figuring out the right OBS settings for recording with the Quest 3. Just about got it tuned in. Once Meta or Valve release a competitor for Pimax with a wide FOV, I will update again. I owe the Vietnam War Vessel @TeTeT guys a video. Been testing some of their new AI assets and it has completely added a new immersion level around the base. More good stuff to come there. I hope to be in a spot where I can push some new stuff out this weekend. Standby, but more coming soon! Also still waiting on ViolentNomads Cobra. In huge trouble when that comes out. Wont be taking the headset off.
  7. Appreciate you jumping in my friend. Sounds like you have a lot more experience on the old girl than me so I will defer to that. I had done some research on this prior to posting because I wanted to make sure it was actually done during the Vietnam war. I will take what I read with a grain of salt because it was online and not in a book. I do have a few Vietnam book references where they were lifting what appeared to be APC's, but I could be mistaken. Appreciate you jumping in and providing your insight and experience. Look forward to our version in DCS being able to do this in the future.
  8. Prior to the above drama (admittedly I somewhat created, I will stop) thanks for the heads up Nineline. Good to know this is in the works. Looking forward to it and I appreciate the response.
  9. @BIGNEWY @Wags @NineLine Should probably find someone who interacts with your customer basis better if they are going to represent ED by presenting your information on the Road Map. Especially since wags just bragged about your renewed standards on how you approach bringing on third party devs and people to represent ED to include their social media posts and how they behave with people on the forums and others. This is not the first time SD has jumped in with wild accusations and sierra talk when he was proven wrong. I will accept my firm response to him above as a provocative measure, but he consistently likes to antagonize and kick the hornets' nest with unfounded opinions and what clearly appears to be a lack of real-world experience, which I have plenty of. Just sayin.
  10. For someone who represents officially/unofficially posting for Eagle Dynamics on their unofficial road map, I would expect a little more research on your behalf before making a comment such as the above. You may not work for or officially post FOR ED, but that is how it is perceived on the first few pages of the ED road map forum. Saying something like you did above could be perceived by someone with less experience than myself as accurate. You are of course very false in your assumption. The reason I posted the question was because Chinooks absolutely carried M113's and Vulcans during the Vietnam war from one place to another. I want to implement this same function into a mission I am building for the boys. It is very realistic/authentic and would have taken you googling CH-47 Sling Loading M113 to find photos of it. The Chinook carries a wide variety of vehicles you are probably unaware of and could be utilized to carry numerous things in DCS other than just artillery and jeeps.
  11. @BIGNEWY @NineLine Any chance there has been talk or anything in the works to be able to sling load vehicles in the Chinook anytime soon? Would really like the capability to carry the M113, Vulcan, and a few other light vehicles for our server to be used with combined arms.
  12. Working on the US Airbase for fixed wing now on the ITJ map. Cannot thank the VWV crew enough for all the hard work they do. More demos to come. This is just a ground cruise of the base at its early stages. Getting the VWV AI assets added though for sure!!!
  13. Current progress on the fixed wing airbase. Still in the early stages, so please, I welcome feedback. If you have photos or suggestions, I cannot make promises but will do my best. I was skeptical at first, but its turning out nice so far. Because the field is smaller than Andersen, it will challenge your piloting skills a little and force you to think about what ordinance to take and how you want to approach the AO. More to come!
  14. This will be in ITJ 100%%%
