  1. Easily my favorite piston fighter now.
  2. Just to expand on this, for the sake of clarity, there's no balance in DCS from a mechanical or developer deemed perspective. Balance is decided upon and created by the mission makers.
  3. I don't think GetRight is going to help out, either.
  4. It certainly applies to the MiG-21 and MiG-15, as well. Over all, ED needs to look at AI performance with certain airframes.
  5. EF for sure is the next one, then the A-6.
  6. AI handling is becoming a more noticeable issue with every patch considering the absence of any interim solutions. Given that they want to give us a dynamic campaign generator, we need the AI fixed long before that. I'm not holding my breath for that, though.
  7. Honestly, I feel you've covered the bases for what Mag3 can do at least. I'd like them to work with ED to get the Tiny Tims working more authentically as they drop before igniting to get clear of the prop arc.
  8. The Spitfire isn't hard, though? You just dance on the pedals and off you go. Manage the throttle gently on landing if you want a cheat code against ground loops. Dot dot dot dot dot, etc.
  9. Hot damn, those look good.
  10. I found saturation to be much more important than curves. These work out really well. I'm using a WinWing Orion 2 set up.
  11. Great checklist!
  12. I wouldn't compare this to the Spitfire or Mustang, just yet. Those are mature products. This one is barely 24 hours in our hands. I WANT to say the Corsair is, but I'm a blatant F4U fanboy. Visually? The Corsair looks superb and the Mustang's age is starting to show. Spitfire looks just fine, though. My recommendation is to get which ever classic fighter you like the most and look beyond their involvement in WWII as well. The Corsair and Mustang were staples over Korea as well as a 100-hour dust up between El Salvador and Honduras, for example.
  13. Yeah, I'm toying with that now and I advise everyone who is having issues with it being twitchy (or with any of these old crates for that matter) to do the same.
  14. It feels and performs good, but does have some anomalies needing to be addressed.
  15. That's going to help you immensely with any warbird or prop driven aircraft. A lot of flying these old crates is their feel.
  16. It's a temperamental beast, a bit twitchy, but it rewards good airmanship like all other warbirds. Still, it is the Ensign Eliminator.
  17. There could be intention to expand upon it. Still, it was one hell of a cycle.
  18. It's been a journey and I've yet to touch it, but congrats to Mag3. Congrats on actually reaching this milestone. I expect the F-8 out by next week!
  19. Strung us along and now they expect us to part with money! Tch tch tch! For shame, Mag3. For sham-oh dang why is my wallet about $50 lighter?
  20. During actual operations, the crew would be on the sidelines in those lowered safety areas. This era of naval aviation didn't have deck crew as active in marshaling aircraft until after landing. You didn't want to be meandering about on a pitching deck while dozens of props were spinning, so you'd keep that to a minimum. I'd wait for the F-8 to really complain about the lack of a deck crew. Those REALLY had to be manhandled by deck crew. Overall, a platform update for ground and deck crew would be very much appreciated. Seeing them run out and yank the chocks away from the aircraft infront of or next to you would be awesome. I'd be really great to see them react to landings going sideways:
