The crowd interested in the F-4 isn't going to be the same crowd wanting an F-35. The only way this would be an issue is if we had to queue up to play and it just threw everyone together ala War Thunder or similar game. This just isn't the case unless you're on an air quake server. In which case, the problem is you're on an air quake server.

IIRC, the drag chute was for the RNoAF F-35 tender. I'm not sure if it's applicable to USAF F-35As, which is what they're modeling. That said, I'd treat it in the same way they treated the LITENING cheek mount on the Hornet. Also, they walked back the Block 2B comment.

It does take some work, but no one's going to pay for an AI model. So, it'll get backburnered constantly. So, between the Viggen, the F-14s, the F-4s, the Eurofighter, and the A-6? That's a lot aircraft to work on for money. I'd like to see it, but I think I wanted to see the F-14, the F-4, the EF and the Intruder a lot more.

Yeah, I've got concerns and I also see no reason now why certain redfor can't be added, but all that said? Let's all act outraged when it's a video game.

ED has grown immensely since then and having it being a first party project is the only way it'll have a chance. That said, I'm still keen to find out a *LOT* more about how they handle fidelity etc.

Again, 'balance' is up to the mission makers. The reality is that, frequently, conflict isn't. If balance is in the cards for a mission? Then they won't add the F-35. Simple as. Also, I wouldn't call it largely guess work, at least for the FM and power output. When we get to the brains of it, though? We could really use a white paper.

If one is going to against the F-35 because of balance, then they're not making a compelling argument since that's not up to the devs, that's up to mission makers and server admins. You're never going to see this on a Cold War server, oddly enough. And, air quake servers will probably nix it all together. The concern should be fidelity. How can we honestly expect this to uphold ED's stated standards? As we have established, the -35 is insanely classified. CFD is nice and all, but given how immensely abstracted EW is in DCS and how important that is the F-35 ops, there's just a lot of question markets. It's a game of wait and see, at this point. If it's good, I'll get it. Otherwise, I can just skip. And, yes, honestly? How do we tell people who have been patiently waiting for more redfor/Warsaw Pact content that this is ok, but their wants are still out of reach?

It'd definitely have to. These are aspects integral to the F-35 experience, much like how we couldn't have an A-6 prior to what the F/A-18 brought in terms of radar capability.

This is very true, I'll probably skip on this at least to start, but at the same time? I can't help but feel this is one of those funny little white ants you see on your porch once in a while before it collapses. If it's the catalyst for improving EW and RCS? Rad, we def need that. Honestly, I hear you loud and clear. There's a LOT of annoying habits ED has and they, frankly, refuse to answer for them with some frequency. But, with the issue of paint kits? I'd honestly just chalk that up to miscommunication by the virtue of there being two CMs. It happens.

It has been a while, I'm hoping there's some more eye candy.
