  1. Thanks Jabbers! Yes there are three separate export toggles it seems. Steel Balls it seems is a go for me if people are playing on it during my play times. I'm stuck out of town till Sunday so can't check it out. Their contact person "German" was great! When I was looking the other night the really active WWII server was Normandy Anticipation something or other and they had player export disabled but haven't found a thread or anything for it yet. I think Burning Skies had it off too but again I can't check until Sunday. I'll probably try contacting them too since I've got time with nothing to do but use my phone to surf the web.
  2. Hey guys, thought I'd chime in with my project here. Goal: force feedback stick with extention really strong FFB centering and p- 51 appropriate grip The catch: I can't use a counterweight due to my motion simulator. Fortunately I don't intend to mount a super heavy grip. The plan: II have modified the original grip from my vkb gladiator pro to approximate the p- 51 grip This grip is plastic and light. I hope in the future to get an actual p- 51 grip, don't know the weight. I have two silver trigger ffb2 sticks. I plan to do the resistor mod on at least one https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=125281&page=1 and try it with my extension. I expect I won't be satisfied with that. Next I plan to do the mod in this thread, with one FFB board having the resistor mod and one not. If that is still not enough FFB for me I can do the resistor mod to the second FFB board. I don't feel I need more stick shake thanks to SimShaker with aura set's and soon a jetseat as well as my motion SIM but I like really strong forces otherwise for maximum realism. Many thank you's to those who have gone before me.
  3. +1 for a webpage with a list of all mods, links to downloads, and status/last update instead of the one big pack. Don't get me wrong I'd love to do it all with one mod but seems like an impossible task to keep it up to date.
  4. I can manage until then, at least if I can get a good WWII server with "player export" enabled for my motion sim I can! =p I bought the Huey and the A-10C modules so I have some single player stuff to hopefully keep me entertained for a while while I wait.
  5. If ED isn't interested, would someone be able to make a mod? I for one would pay at least $30 for it, probably even $50 plus if I had to.
  6. Hey guys! Tonight was my first time trying to get onto a multiplayer server in DCS and much to my horror I found my motion simulator doesn't work on any of the servers I wanted to play on! This is a deal breaker for me =(. It seems the setting I need is "player export". Mostly I'm here to ask why this is disabled so I understand the problem before I get too busy begging admins to turn it on so I can fly on their servers! I can't live without my motion hehe. I figure it's (but hope it's not) cheat or server load related. If anyone is looking to invite me into their "player export" enabled server let it be known I am a P-51D pilot looking for the most immersive experience possible. =) Trip "RIP" Rodriguez
  7. Hey guys, would it be possible for our awesome modding community to get leap motion hand tracking enabled for operating in-cockpit controls? This has already been done by FlyInside for MSX and P3D: Demo: Explanation and scaling factor: 2nd half of vid This would be very much appreciated by all the VR flyers in DCS! Thanks for reading, Trip
  8. Oh I had read that but forgot, I bet ammo is unlimited on the air to air tutorial where I tested! Good call Andre, thanks! I'll try that tomorrow for sure. Trip
  9. That Spitfire trailer... can't stop watching it! My new years resolution is to wave a virtual pitchfork around outside virtual ED HQ demanding Normandy news until we get word! Happy new year all, now show us WWII fans some love ED!
  10. Agree 100%. The pilot in the cockpit of the P-51 is so nice!
  11. Tested the sound module today (JetSeat still en route to me) with my motion sim in the P-51C, it was fantastic to gain the rumble on the ground and landing gear extend/retract/lock! Other effects nice too but those are what I appreciate most. Engine beat is very good to have too. Didn't notice any feedback from guns firing though, but maybe it's too subtle to notice with other effects and my motion sim moving. Will post on the SimShaker for Aviators thread once I test the Jetseat as well. I'm nearing the complete solution now!
  12. Sure thing, glad I could help! Just in case you missed it, the way I wound up at the old site instead of the new was by clicking the buy a license button inside the software. Apologies if you already caught that, just trying to help. Soon as I get paid I'll be buying the sound module =) Super excited for my Jetseat to arrive!
  13. @=Andre= The message you said I sent from the old site I sent by clicking the "contact form" button here on the new site: https://andres-eshop.pswebshop.com/software/20-simshaker-for-dcsw-sound-module-key.html so I guess maybe the contact form link needs update? Also, searching the new site myself I was never able to find this page you linked me: https://andres.shop/software/20-simshaker-for-dcsw-sound-module-key.html I'm not sure why that is. I looked at your link to the sound module user guide and indeed you did explain it there! I wouldn't have ever looked at the user guide on my own because the setup of the software is very well laid out and easy so I never would have thought to look there for instructions on how to buy it. I think a "buy sound module" button on the main e-shop page would be the best solution, with those same instructions from the setup guide and a note to test before you buy. Wheels is there, why not sound?
  14. I'm posting this for the next time someone wanting to buy the sound module is confused: Here is where you need to go to buy sound module (ONLY needed for buttkickers etc. NOT for JetSeat!:! https://andres.shop/software/20-simshaker-for-dcsw-sound-module-key.html And here are setup instructions, make sure you test before you buy! https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.ru/p/simshaker-and-buttkicker.html Trip
  15. @faelwolf check out FlyInside (for P3D and FSX) Leap Motion integration. It's halfway there! I was a little bit surprised when I got into DCS that they don't have the same thing.
  16. What happened to wild speculation about when we'll get news on Normandy?! Can we go back to that, I was finding it very therapeutic. I'm really hoping Normandy breathes a lot of life into DCS WWII, I want some proper WWII campaigns to play through in my P-51D!
  17. I've got another one for you guys! Is it possible, perhaps with a 3rd sound card and 2nd instance of the SimShaker software, to have just the stall shake sent to a separate shaker that is on the joystick? It's either this or I have to start building a modded MS FFB2! Trip
  18. Thanks guys. I'm still not seeing any button to buy or donate for the sound module. Maybe my browser is blocking a pop up or something? I do want to use SimShaker for my buttkicker and Aura- ST's so I believe I do need the sound module to do that no? On a side note, I just ordered my JetSeat from Andre as well, planning to use both as well as my motion chair. Should be awesome! Trip
  19. So I wanted to buy (or at least check the price of) the sound module, and the page for it doesn't seem to have a buy button! https://andres-eshop.pswebshop.com/software/20-simshaker-for-dcsw-sound-module-key.html I believe I read that Andre is on vacation for another week and a half, do I have to wait? Just FYI, I'm buying a JetSeat from Andre as well as soon as I get paid!
  20. Hey guys, I'd really like to have a pilot avatar in my cockpit. I realize it would block the panels some but I could toggle it off temporarily when it's in the way like I do in the P-51 module. I've decided to go all in on DCS because it's one of the most immersive experiences available but this really hurts in that regard. Thanks for any help, Trip
  21. @Nu-NRG Can you tell me any more about this? Does the fact that they added this mean you don't feel the impending stall through the airframe much? I wonder (I have to read more on and start experimenting with SimShaker!) if it would be possible to have one shaker mounted directly to my stick assembly that replicates this, while also having SimShaker doing all the other stuff with shakers mounted to my platform floor. Possible perhaps with a 3rd sound card and shaker/amp? Maybe running two concurrent copies of the SimShaker app? I realize the answers to these questions are probably out there, I'll find out.
  22. Excellent, I'll go for both then! I've got one Buttkicker Mini and two Aura ST's and an amp so I'll get those hooked up and order the JetSeat as soon as I have the money in the next couple days. Thanks for the reply @f4l0
  23. @firmec thanks for the reply! That was the impression I got about the current lack of wwii content but glad to hear it's likely to improve soon. This is very O.C.D. of me but I don't want to fly the spit because of the hoop on the stick lol.
  24. Thanks! I'll check it out
  25. ÌAfter looking up SimShaker I'm interested in the JetSeat as well, but wondering if getting a JetSeat is worthwhile if I have a decent bass shaker setup. Can both be used through SimShaker at once? It occurs to me that I could get another buttkicker with that money instead of JetSeat. Currently I have one Buttkicker Mini and two Aura ST's. I'd like to add a full size buttkicker maybe.
