  1. especially since this is a COMPUTER PROGRAM and it will always work 100% (yes, i know there's a *possibility* of failure but the vast majority of us move that slider to 0%) so... why worry about BITs??
  2. another thing i would like to understand... lets say you click UNDESIG on the TPOD *where* does the TPOD start to look?? WHY doesn't it just stay put where it is - and the system just simply wipes the current desig point? instead all we see is the TPOD moving "somewhere?!?! it kinda goes out of control is that correct?? it doesn't seem intuitive
  3. also (not-related but related)... switching to FLIR mode it is VERY difficult to actually make out targets from ~15nm and closing objects appear very faint and almost out of focus ----- anyway to make that clearer? CCD mode seems to work better thx
  4. this is a follow-on to my previous thread... https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=271252 my youtube demonstrates that the IR-MAV doesn't lock on to a point designated by the TPOD attached: TRK + MIZ file (( sorry for no audio on the youtube video - i've gotta go dive into my settings to see why its not recording my voice - i definitely narrated it... )) MAV-vs-TPOD____16dT_NTTR_FA-18C_Conventional Bombing_IR-MAVs+TPOD.trk 16dT_NTTR_FA-18C_Conventional Bombing_IR-MAVs+TPOD.miz
  5. thx guys - will attempt @darc.. i'm most definitely NOT seeing that behavior
  6. idunno about you but when i use the IR-MAV i just fly the HUD onto the target, get the MAV triangle near the vicinity of the target ("on" if possible) and then transition my view to the HUD - the MAV seeker "stabilizes" as soon as I move the TDC (( also note... don't keep the nose down - stop the descent and pull the nose up! everyone keeps the target in the HUD and keeps descending - not good... )) i'm not sure i'm seeing what you're seeing - it seems to "lock" into a ground-stabilized position once i move the TDC
  7. you might be right i'll try people's suggestions again (later tonight? tomorrow? i've got a life...) and if its still wonky (( other ppl seem to be reporting difficulty also - so i'm pretty sure its not all just "me" )) i'll repost with a different name - like you suggest thx
  8. thx - i'll try this "again" i honestly thought i was doing that ----- when i desig'd with the TPOD, the mav did indeed slew, but NOT entirely to the target - it was slightly off - and nothing i did could get it to slew ON TO the target again, the operation here seems buggy
  9. i've changed the setting in OPTIONS where i don't have to do that - i just move it normal when the TPOD is not in operation, i can control MAV just fine ED, instead of just dismissing this bug report, why don't you EXPLAIN what i'm doing wrong?!?
  10. thx ---- kinda seems like its borked (?) difficulty with TDC control when you switch back and forth maybe i'm missing something here? but it should be more intuitive i'd like to challenge the [NO BUG] status that has been assigned to this report anyone know how i can do that??
  11. okay.. will try again i know cage/uncage is mapped - it works on the TPOD
  12. yeah no... just tried it --- this is reported as NO BUG i dispute that - i can't designate the MAV by using the TPOD i can't just SOI over to the MAV and control it from there desig the target from the TPOD, the MAV doesn't slew to the target only workaround is to completely turn off the TPOD and use the MAV only : /
  13. oh wow - that's really interesting i never got into the A-10 --- A-G is kinda new to me...
  14. okay... i'll give it a try that way maybe that's the way its supposed to work : )
  15. well said, dawgie!
  16. yeah, i seem to remember having trouble getting stores to JETT just using TM-WH
  17. i was flying online last night with a buddy - i took all IR-MAVs and a TPOD he took MAVs + GBUs we both had difficulty manipulating the TDC slew i was trying to use the TPOD to cue the mavericks - ie.. find the target with the TPOD and then slewing the MAV to the target identified and designated by the TPOD but it was not intuitive you couldn't go back and forth between the MAV and the TPOD vis a vis TDC slew control also, i couldn't ever get the MAV triangle off the HUD in short, i got frustrated and just wanted to "start over" but i couldn't in summary... we should be able to switch SOI between TPOD and MAVs and not have any difficulty or confusion i apologize if this isn't a bug and its just the way the real jet works (( i looked in the three latest pages of bugs and haven't seen any posts on this subject - again, apologies if this has actually been covered ))
  18. LOL WHAT sim title?? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  19. post after post after post after post here........... :megalol:
  20. i'm just afraid that ED won't release a module for a LOTTTT longer because everybody is griping about "how" they release them ---- i'd rather have what we've got, than wait for a YEAR to get to fly these great jets sorry, but i just don't get worked up with semantics and labels and titles its like fake boobs - if i can touch them, they're not fake LOL
  21. was the south china sea relevant in WWII? i thought one clue about the map was that it was going to be relevant in WWII and modern era
  22. you are literally the ONE PERSON who says this no matter what ED does, someone b*tches whines and complains
  23. hoo-ya! the latest iteration they can legally get away with 8)
