noticed this last night - contacts on my radar scope are GLOWING ie... too bright seemed to only be in RWS - not in TWS (( maybe trouble seeing youtube? try this link... ))

okay.. i see what you're doing - you have to sort of "pre-aim" the pod in order to get the laser spot tracker to "catch" the illumination that kinda defeats the purpose though doesn't it? you don't know where the target area is, but in order for the LSS to find the laser reflection, you have to point it in "sorta" the right direction that's kinda catch-22, right? i don't remember it being this difficult - i seem to remember (emphasis on "seem") the LSS would find the laser much easier Q - has the field of view of the TPOD been reduced?? Q2 - if it has been reduced, can we have it back?

wing-tank drag ---- is it modeled? is the drag subtracted from the a/c once they're dropped? i heard a while ago wing-tank drag wasn't modeled correctly same for pylons ???

DCS really does need a full-up F-15C F-15E *is* a totally different aircraft - the drag, extra cockpit, additional restructuring of the fuselage... all make it a significantly different platform - so much so that the AIR FORCE ITSELF named it differently! (that's what we call A CLUE, folks) would love to see DCS to be completely "full up" and FC3 (and now MAC) all relegated to its own separate universe #HardcoreMasterRace

AND for some reason, the cursor (yellow cross) doesn't appear in my recording - using nvidias integral recorder)

??? i tell a JTAC to go "laser on" he comes back saying "lasing" but the LSS never finds it - i just give up and select WPN DSG on the HSI and bomb on that point - the bomb finds the laser and its "good enough" but i kinda want to see the LSS work - i want to see the pod do its thing

WHY does TWS take so long to finish?? honest question - we are clearly on the outside looking in - it seems easy and straight-forward to us and you do other things that "seem" so difficult yet you do them quickly and well why is TWS such a struggle? a little explanation would go a long way thx Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

which is NOT the same as a full-fidelity F-15C i see the comments - the requests to remove the CFTs a strike eagle minus the CFTs does not a light gray make ask any eagle or strike eagle aircrew DCS *needs* a full-fidelity F-15C

i think it "may" be the situation that you have to cycle the settings i had this problem and now i don't - i don't know exactly what changed to make it fixed but i would turn it on and turn it off... until its not there anymore ???

one of these days i'm gonna own one of those : )

got VA working with VAICOM PRO ---- it works for a couple mins, then doesn't work anymore - its running, its not crashing - but it does not respond to my PTT key (from TM-WH/TARGET and keyboard, doesn't matter) it seems like it is always on - always listening because if i watch the VA window, it is picking up fragments of what i'm saying (and getting things wrong too) but i'm not keying the PTT i see approx 280 pages of support here - have *not* gone through them all just gonna put this out there ---- any ideas why VA/VAICOM plugin works for a few mins and then just..... doesn't?? TIA
