  1. agree w/ OP... once you trim roll left/right, you can never return to "perfect" center (non-trimmed roll) would be nice if ED would look into this at least put it on the "to do" list (please?)
  2. FYI........ he didn't say "no" !! : )
  3. true ---- maybe ED will see this and add that functionality into the A120...
  4. the missile should actually continue to its latest calculated interception point and then turn on its on-board radar not just "go stupid" and continue along its last trajectory

newer = better solved problems guys griped about with the original digital it is!!
  6. dude... there are SO MANY more polite non-condescending and less adversarial ways to get a point across and get sympathy for your request............ sad smh
  7. this fkkg SUXXX this is TERRIBLE news!! >: ( let us mod the LUA files the way we want to! but don't FORCE US ALL TO BE HANDICAPPED!!!
  8. yepyep!! gotta make it happen eventually...
  9. or.. just look out the window! 8)
  10. what about the military grid reference coords? lat/long + MGRS ???
  11. at some point they'll just do it - juuuuust to shut everybody up (( anybody with a four-year-old will understand... ))
  12. man! this thread is OLD!! this is STILL happening?!? amazing.......
  13. @darc - so you're saying the look-down angle is too steep and you gotta mash the TDC desig button - several times
  14. yes... agree completely this is a little annoying you press-and-hold - expecting something to happen....... then it doesn't and you wonder if you understood correctly then release and.. "oh! there it is!" TECHNICALLY they're correct - but....... that's also kinda not what we're expecting
  15. especially since this is a COMPUTER PROGRAM and it will always work 100% (yes, i know there's a *possibility* of failure but the vast majority of us move that slider to 0%) so... why worry about BITs??
  16. another thing i would like to understand... lets say you click UNDESIG on the TPOD *where* does the TPOD start to look?? WHY doesn't it just stay put where it is - and the system just simply wipes the current desig point? instead all we see is the TPOD moving "somewhere?!?! it kinda goes out of control is that correct?? it doesn't seem intuitive
  17. also (not-related but related)... switching to FLIR mode it is VERY difficult to actually make out targets from ~15nm and closing objects appear very faint and almost out of focus ----- anyway to make that clearer? CCD mode seems to work better thx
  18. this is a follow-on to my previous thread... https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=271252 my youtube demonstrates that the IR-MAV doesn't lock on to a point designated by the TPOD attached: TRK + MIZ file (( sorry for no audio on the youtube video - i've gotta go dive into my settings to see why its not recording my voice - i definitely narrated it... )) MAV-vs-TPOD____16dT_NTTR_FA-18C_Conventional Bombing_IR-MAVs+TPOD.trk 16dT_NTTR_FA-18C_Conventional Bombing_IR-MAVs+TPOD.miz
  19. thx guys - will attempt @darc.. i'm most definitely NOT seeing that behavior
  20. idunno about you but when i use the IR-MAV i just fly the HUD onto the target, get the MAV triangle near the vicinity of the target ("on" if possible) and then transition my view to the HUD - the MAV seeker "stabilizes" as soon as I move the TDC (( also note... don't keep the nose down - stop the descent and pull the nose up! everyone keeps the target in the HUD and keeps descending - not good... )) i'm not sure i'm seeing what you're seeing - it seems to "lock" into a ground-stabilized position once i move the TDC
