  1. i'm not going to vote - because for me its a mixed bag ---- on the one hand, contact spotting is probably improved - HOWEVER, i'm seeing missiles appear as a giant (ie: out-of-proportion unnaturally LARGE) dot --- the missile and the jet that fired it appears to me as the same size ----- the missile should be invisible, maybe the smoke-trail would be visible not sure how to make missiles invisible at range...
  2. i'm getting this error when the SA-15 is fired at me in the test mission... any suggestions on how to fix this??
  3. mig-21 pilots have reported that the eagle's radar was so powerful that it saturated their RWR systems such that it gave a 360-deg indication (ie: the system indicated the eagle's radar was ALL AROUND THEM - the whole thing lit up!) @Beamscanner's post makes sense
  4. agree w/ OP... once you trim roll left/right, you can never return to "perfect" center (non-trimmed roll) would be nice if ED would look into this at least put it on the "to do" list (please?)
  5. FYI........ he didn't say "no" !! : )
  6. true ---- maybe ED will see this and add that functionality into the A120...
  7. the missile should actually continue to its latest calculated interception point and then turn on its on-board radar not just "go stupid" and continue along its last trajectory

  15. man! this thread is OLD!! this is STILL happening?!? amazing.......
  16. @darc - so you're saying the look-down angle is too steep and you gotta mash the TDC desig button - several times
  17. yes... agree completely this is a little annoying you press-and-hold - expecting something to happen....... then it doesn't and you wonder if you understood correctly then release and.. "oh! there it is!" TECHNICALLY they're correct - but....... that's also kinda not what we're expecting
  18. especially since this is a COMPUTER PROGRAM and it will always work 100% (yes, i know there's a *possibility* of failure but the vast majority of us move that slider to 0%) so... why worry about BITs??
  19. another thing i would like to understand... lets say you click UNDESIG on the TPOD *where* does the TPOD start to look?? WHY doesn't it just stay put where it is - and the system just simply wipes the current desig point? instead all we see is the TPOD moving "somewhere?!?! it kinda goes out of control is that correct?? it doesn't seem intuitive
