  1. Hey, I'm having the same problem. I thought it might be the same problem as you were having above angels 25 BUT I have realised that it always happens above the same piece of land in the Persian Gulf map. See attached logs and image of the suspect area. Thanks guys for all the support so far with this - this bug is a bit of a bummer because we are hosting this amazing public mission but this piece of land is enroute from the carrier group to the AO! Thanks dcs.log.zip
  2. ARE WE THERE YET!?!? CUMMON DAD! And by Dad I mean Wags Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. At this rate Patrick Little will be president of the US before we are doing our case 1’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hey - thanks for the info. I recently made a QFE calculator for myself and a few friends to use when planning strike missions but the output always differs from the viggens calculated QFE in the kneeboard. What is the new atmospheric calculation used by ED? If I knew it I could use that instead of the real life formula. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Ooh good idea, wasn’t there going to be mission designer placeable WW2 airfields? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm excited to try this when I'm home from work... I'll let you know! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Damn these time zones! Why can't everyone post times in GMT. Would be useful for me lol (2 miles from Greenwich) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. This is still a big issue despite the changes. It does seem better in 2.1 but when I'm running 4K and flying with 1080p pilots, they are spotting things at great distances! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It's lopsided too, I can lose an engine with a single round through the radiator but the AI are like terminators lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi all, Here are two missions (4 and 5) of the Operation Piercing Fury campaign. Definitely my favourite so far and I will be streaming the upcoming missions in the future. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks guys :joystick:
  11. Quantum computers will never replace conventional cpus for these kind of tasks. Plus I don't really want to have to have vats of liquid nitrogen in my house to fly on DCS in 2030! Carbon nanotube microprocessors seem like the next step and I assume they would be able to use a similar processor design but the manufacturing material would allow for higher speeds and thermal performance. I have a friend working on those ATM for his PHD, I'll ask him over Christmas what his work may mean for DCS! The only problem is convincing intel to release new tech when there is no serious competition in the marketplace :(. (Cue some AMD users getting triggered haha) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Using the INS for precission bombing Sorry about this post- tapatalk messed up and now I can't even delete it :/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Using the INS for precission bombing Using the PI bombing mode. Find an IP about 15nm from target area, something that you can easily find with your own eyes. I generally use a 'corner building' of a town or a bridge or a split in a river. Program in the grids of the IP then set the offset to the target (use the bearing and range method, its easiest) At about 10nm from target (if on the deck) pull 20-30 degrees nose up, full burn. Release on the cue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Still no luck for me in 1.5.5, asked for clearance and got it. No start up for the wing.
  16. Very nice, this came with 1.5.5? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That's not true. Users here want to be able to simulate real abilities of the aircraft. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. During a CCIP snake eye run, bombs all fell short however Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I get accurate bomb drops and even did before the latest update, although the crosses on HUD seem off. On TAW 3 server yesterday did a two man INS toss bombing on the Russian factory complex.. Main building destroyed and most of the complex on fire. I can say that bomb toss over a hill defo works as intended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. No problem, that was easy lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. What do you guys think of the new Tactical Map labels? I just had a long think about when and how I would like to be able to see other players markings. Never, was the answer. If someone wants to share data they can reach me on simpleradio! Which brings me to my next point. ED SHOULD SELL CIRIBOBS SIMPLE RADIO AS AN INTEGRATED MODULE The marks should be able to be made on the f10 and viewable on kneeboard but only for your own aircraft (in game copilot/RIO). I'm pretty sure I would only use marks for my own flight plan (very useful in conjunction with radio nav) and for received targets from jtac and for marking an IP and ranging it. 25. Exactly my thoughts. In an ideal world we would have the arma map system and each player would only be able to write on their 'own' map. Or at least the realism settings would be able to turn the blufor markers on/off. In order to effectively put markers on specific lat/longs or mgrs coordinates we would need a dialog box in order to enter the coordinates for the markers to be accurately placed instead of tediously moving the mouse around the f10 map. Some marks like this would be majorly useful for the new mirage ins bombing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
