I'm not up to speed but frantically googletranslating the site. Does he sell and ship to europe with in a reasonable time frame? IE: like a month or so. (unlike MFG and VKB..) If so, I'd like to order me a piece of this!

Hey just dusted off my G940 since my warthog is dying. Just wanted to clarify, FFB/Trim is not working right now?

F*ck me I'd give anything for a Gladiator Pro, my warthog has been dead for a couple of weeks now. There really doesn't seem to be a replacement for the warthog at this very point in time. And Im not buying another stick with crappy gimbal & electronics. Edit: or Cobra or whatever.

I'm not sure. So what gimbal would that thing be using?

There have been several solutions over the years, but (as ppl above me posted) recently Ciribob released the much beloved Simple Radio Standalone (SRS), which is the best and easiest solution to date IMO. A one stop solution to this problem.

Please good sir Ciribob don't listen to the loud minority of people not understanding the greatness and importance of SRS. We both now and experienced mumble and PR development. I have to keep myself from spamming and filling your threads with compliments. So please good sir, do continue with SRS. IMHO, the most important addition to DCS to date.

Wow. That is really cool. I was actually just thinking about making a gimbal myself but who am I kidding? I wouldn't even know where to start. Really like the gimbal. I would pay money if you ever get a working spare over. Just saying!

Thank god. I have been giving my stick the bad eye the last couple of months. Shitty ****ing gimble. I had the same problem. Regreased and sanded and smoothed and all that stuff. And no its spiking. But I still like the handle and throttle. So Im putting my hopes in the VKB Gunfighter.

I can also make up anecdotal evidence to support my opinions. That for example, everyone I have talked to supports SR on every server. Anyhow... You must see the irony in calling us aggressive and unreasonable when you are the one opposing the long sought after solution to an annoying problem. And an improvement to the whole sim at that! The "forcing people" aspect has already been answered. PR is living proof of the importance of something like this.

If you want to chat to buddies in TS that's fine. But mandatory monitoring of a GCI/ATC channel or whatever isn't that difficult and not to much to ask. Coms is a big part of flying (reason for multiple radios, HOTAS keys for radios ect.), in military even more so. And it is a Sim after all. At least here on BF, a massive PVP event with multiple spokes in its wheel. It's perfect. It's one of the major parts of the sim that has been missing and I think we should thank Ciribob (and everyone on BF) for this awesome work implementing it. I'm really not trying to be d*ck about it but like ApoNOOB wrote, I've also already seen it happen in PR.

I think a lot of us have been trying to push it on those servers (sorry!). Regarding the moderator stuff. I think the main point of this is to make it easy and standalone. Like an integrated feature almost (IMHO, not speaking for Ciribob of course).

haha wow, is that right? Little anecdote: I met a friend last weekend that I hadn't met in a very long time. Catching up he asked if I was still doing flight sim stuff and I said "Yeah and do you know that they're gonna release Viggen sim!?" He replied "Didnt you say that last year?"
