What would you say is the best source available to learn the harrier after a year or so of absence? For other modules i would go for Chucks Guides, but the Harrier guide is down for now. There where some pretty big changes in the last year, so how can I get to grips with it again? Thank you!

Hello! During alignment we have to enter the True Heading from the kneeboard... I had a typo and entered the wrong heading. Is there a way to correct this? I tried switching the INS back to STBY and FAST again but this didnt gave me the option to change it... had to restart the mission.

Ah yes, I already "know" these awesome tools... but I am no programmer, so far I just hope to get over the basic editor functions Thank you very much!

Hello! I want to setup a Training mission where I can fly to a waypoint and spawn one of 5 different aircraft as enemy... I setup 5 enemy aircrafts in air with "Late activstion" ticked. I setup a waypoint for my aircraft which sits inside a trigger zone. In the trigger settings I setup this: Once> Part of Coalition in zone > Set Flag 1 Random Value from 1 to 5 ---> Flag 1 - value 1 = Activate Mig21 ---> Flag 1 - value 2 = Activate Su27 ---> Flag 1 - value 3 = Activate Mirage ...and so on. Is this a good way to do this? Or did I get something wrong or too complicated? Thank you!

I tried again - it loaded, but it took more then 4 minutes... for whatever reason. How long did it take to load on your PC? You can see my specs in my signature, dont think it is a hardware problem.

Thank you... thats weird, I am able to load any other mission (self made or downloaded) only this one is not working.

Hello! I am on 2.7 open Beta and created a new Training mission for myself on the Syria map. I can start the mission and select one of the Client aircraft. But when I click OK DCS is not responding anymore and I have to end the DCS task via task manager. I attached the Mission in question. It contains a few triggers and units... but nothing crazy. Thank you guys! I hope the Hind is more on the easy side in terms of VRS. I am by far no helo expert, but always had the feeling the Hip is entering it too easy.

Hello! As I fly the MI8 from time to time I wondered if anyone knows how prone the Hind is in regards of entering Vortex Ring State? If you go above a certain VS the Mi8 is lost and you have no or little chances to recovering from VRS. The huey is not that prone to VRS... I think because it is smaller and lighter. Does anyone know if the HIND is more like the HUEY or more like the MI8 in regards of VRS?

This isnt very updated... The different maps (Flyable aircraft) are all outdated

Also have the feeling that landings are way smoother now when using aerodynamic breaking - holding the nose up as long as possible.

This is still a bug. 2.7 here. Going back to SMS page and change weapon is the only way.

Hello! After I watched this a awesome introduction: https://youtu.be/IvDa0TCpDx0 I am hyped about the upcoming Module as a whole... But I also realized that it needs a very capable second person to either fly the helo or manage the weapons. Not everyone is able to, or wants to, fly with other people online. So the AI will take this part... I had to think about Jester and imagined him sitting in the Hind... I just cant imagine that this will work properly. In terms of jester, he is still not able to do anything regarding ground attack and has major flaws in air to air (alltough I think it is very vell developed, it is just a very big task for AI) I just have the fear it is not doable in DCS at this time... Maybe I am too much pessimistic, I dont know. What do you think?

I hope the F16 is getting as much love as the Hornet got the last months. Would be nice to have a complete Flightmodel and Antiskid.

Thats the reason why I made it. I wanted to have a quick overview. I think I will correct the CBU mistake and load it up as a kneeboard image.
