Is it possible to get a written sheet of Nadias (i think this is the name for the russian bitchin betty) warnings and comments? I would love to know what she is saying to me, but I dont speak russian. It would be nice to have it in text so that i can translate it via google. So that I can learn the phrases and know whats going on.

Both assignments exists, both fire the gun... looks like a leftover?

Hello! I was happy to see that we can now assign the Wepon selector (the dial where you select guns, rockets...) for each position. But the most useless "feature" in DCS struck hard again. The only thing you can change in the controls menu is the keybinding. All my other joysticks (Warthog, Thrustmaster MFDs,...) are greyed out. I already had to fight with this nonsense in the A10C, where you have to delete some lua files to get this assignments open for use. But now I wanted to ask if this HAS to be that way? I cant imagine what benefit this should bring to anyone? Can anyone tell me what lua files I have to delete to get this assignable? Back in the A10C I had to delete a MFD lua, but the Hind does not have this. Thank you

letters & numbers next OSB-16 on TAD
Rhinozherous replied to HILOK's topic in DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer
Yes, and I think this is used for talking to an JTAC or any other station that is used for coordinating attacks. So that they know what loadout you are carrying with you. -
I take anything that makes attacking ground targets better! Right now it is very clunky to handle the TGP

Thank you! Didnt notice that there is already a thread about this.

Hello! Just a little thing, but can we have sound for pushing the trim button? If it is making a sound in the real thing of course. In the Mi‐8 you can hear that satisfying mechanical "clonk" when you trim... I somewhat miss that in the Hind

I didnt know that there are that much Tornado requests already when I posted this thread. -
Hello! Latest beta here. After a time I flew the KA50 again and noticed that I had to hold the heading with rudder myself, alltough HDG mode was on. In the past the shark always held the heading quite stable, but now I cant go heads down to the shkval without yawing all over the place. All AP Modes where on except of ALT. Flightdirector was off. Helo was trimmed and he held very nicely bank and pitch, but no auto yaw control. Is this a bug or something new I missed?

Spotting and helping in situational awareness are the main tasks I think... our petrovich should soon be able to do this also! Looking forward to the spotting feature... and the voiceovers

I think all things regarding crew other then petrovich is not done so far (Door gunners and troops onboard)

If you own the module you already have an english version of the quick guide on your pc... Why translate the russian version to english? ^^ I dont think the russian guide has more info then the english guide.

How does mi-24p automatically control the flight?
Rhinozherous replied to huchanronaa's topic in DCS: Mi-24P Hind
If you ask about petrovich ai, you have to change the seat to the forward position - default binding is number 2 on your keyboard. But as this is part of the manual you have to read that again, or watch Youtube videos, or read thru the forum. This is too big to explain it here in this post. If you ask about the "autopilot" this could be a missunderstanding, because there is no autopilot as in an airplane where you push a button and the aircraft follows. It is more a stabilization System which lends you a hand in holding pitch, bank, yaw and altitude when you push the trim button. But the most important thing is trying it again and again and read again and again until you understand it. If you have questions, ask here in the forum - but be more precise in which things you want to know! -
Also wondering about this warning...

Gunners Panel not showing
Rhinozherous replied to Rhinozherous's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
Nevermind! I thought the "Gunner Panel" in the settings is the right panel, but it is the "Crew Status" - Crew status shows up. Altough I would like to know what the Gunner Panel is - just curious. -
Hello! I have a door and the tail gunner loaded and want to show the gunners panel for setting the ROE and Burst. I have bound the A key (no crossbinding, already checked) but it wont show up when I press it. I already tried with a joystick button but no success. Please help, thank you!

Hey! The descriptions of the Hind by ED says "The internal fuel capacity is 1,770kg" On the screenshot you see the fuel gauge with 100% full internal tanks, no external tanks and the fuel meter set to total... which scale do I have to read? I already realized that it shows liters, not kilos. But do we read the most outer scale for internal tanks? Thank you

I also never had that much fun learning a helo! My favorite was the Black Shark but you dont learn that much about flying helos from him. The Gazelle never was made for me it seams, it is the most time hangared. With the Mi8 and the Huey I learned a lot, but with the Hind I now have the motivation to learn all about flying it! And the best thing is that it will become an even better module over the next few years! Thank you!

I also noticed this... And found a workaround. I use the thrustmaster warthog and have the brake axis bound to my rudder pedals but also to the little friction lever on the warthog. When i do my startup I simply put the lever full forward, the hog is now on kind of parking brake, but I dont have to hold the pedals. Chocks would be a nice feature for the warthog.
