  1. Hello! Is anyone else having a bit of a problem with the VV? When in landing mode the VV is always deviated onto the left or right side of the hud as if there is crosswind, but I had no winds in some Training missions.
  2. Hello! It would be nice to have a bit more info about how jester is doing things. For example: Will he attempt to lock a target on his own or do I have to ask him for every lock? When he is losing lock, will he trie to lock again? I think Jester is a bit under-represented in the manual alltough he is such an great new invention. Thank you
  3. I think Jester lasing with lantirn is currently not fully implemented...
  4. ... aaand I think I already found it. Its the Chapter "vertical display indicator group" in the NATOPS. Page 22-1 or 731 for the PDF page.
  5. Also want to know more about the symbology... Currently I search the NATOPS manual for more information.
  6. I have setup an easy training mission for learning the systems and procedures... for this I use just MIG 15 as target drones. Jester had it locked on and as we approached visual range he identified the poor mig 15 with a laugh - "iiits a... pfaahahaha its an..." I could not hear the rest of the sentence because at this time my phoenix reached the mig and he changed to another sentence, but he was clearly amused, and I also. I can not remember laughing so hard in a DCS single player training mission :-D The F14 module is awesome, but Jester in particular is a whole new page of immersion in DCS.
  7. Also experience this. "Workaround" with selecting from dropdown is not usable as I have the Warthog (a ton of buttons) and never recognized which button has which number.
  8. After trying all sorts of settings in selfmade singleplayer test missions... this setting does nothing, at least in beta version.
  9. The queen of the dirtmovers, she is the beauty in her uglyness... The one and only A10C Warthog!
  10. When you use abreviated you see the labels of enemy and your own aircraft abreviated? This means just the type of aircraft? Are you activating them in the mission editor also? I tried with the mark on for labels in the mission... Also set for abreviated. Thank you
  11. Hello! I use the current open beta and just realized that there is an option now for the SHIFT+F10 labels... at least I think they are quite new. But I tried the "Abbreviated" option and still see the default ones with name and distance. Even when I select "Dot only" How are they working? Thanks
  12. Hello! I tried to find something about the Cruise page and Countermeasures page... it seems not to be in the pocket guide. What is the state of the guide and when will it be updated? Thank you!
  13. This sounds awesome, but it exceeds my knowledge with excel by far :P I learned today how to add cells that sum up. But I like it to learn something new and want to trie to add a sheet which we can enter details, as you mentioned.
  14. I created a simple Logbook now. It just holds fields for Day and Night Hours and Fields for Totals. I left the Module fields empty so others can enter the modules they own. Any ideas for more fields? LINK: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17KDrR5JiFt2eu9rutJ6lw15D6tsMliR-/view?usp=sharing
  15. Thank you very much! I already found some tutorials on yt. I think I will create it with Apache Open Office Calc as I dont own Microsoft Office. When (if) I am happy with the result I will load it up so that everybody can use it.
  16. Hello! I know DCS has a logbook but since it is not tracking online sessions and I want to have a more simple overview over my hours per module I came here. I want to use an excell sheet (but on open document) with a column for modules where every row stands for a module and is extendable when new modules arrive. Then I want to use columns for Date, Hours, Remarks or Notes The hours should auto summ-up and maybe the date should be auto entry.... Now I wanted to know if anyone knows if this possible at all, as I have zero experience with excell :smartass: Thank you very much!
  17. Tried now with 15 on the Warhog HOTAS, it was too much. Ended up with 10 on pitch and roll axis.
  18. I measured exact 6cm on the TM Warthog HOTAS so I will trie a curve of around 15.
  19. Will trie Curves, as this seems more realistic to me because I have no extemsion.
  20. Thank you, I never was sure what saturation is really doing. Much clearer now! My Warthog has not that much noise, it is shiny new. Just a few month old :) (and I love it)
  21. This helps indeed, I use the Warthog HOTAS without extension. I will measure the movement and trie your recomendations.
  22. Do you use curves on the sensible flight controls of the Eagle?
