Hello! The lights on the weapon config panel are waaaay too dim. Cant see if missile is warmed up. [EDIT - I just have overseen the knob for brightness of the caution and weapon panel] :doh:

Can confirm this too - Switched on during startup from cold and dark, switched it off during flight, after this it wasnt showing up after turning the knob.

I also use the Nozzle position. I think it opens only in afterburner.

For me the Viper is the first DCS aircraft that fits like a glove... Dont get me wrong, all the other birds are awesome too, but she fits my basic idea of flying a fighter jet perfectly. Very responsive and precise.

Hello! First thing I do in a new Aircraft is doing a Cold and Dark startup... All things work but I cant find the knob/switch/button to turn the HUD on. I add screens of HUD control panel and UFC - Brightness is full up Can anyone enlighten me please? :music_whistling: Thank you!

Hello! I noticed that the connection point for a2a refueling is quite a distance behind the cockpit... It comes to my mind that the boom operator has a lot to do with aiming that thing in. As I am absolute no a2a expert, I wonder if this circumstance makes refueling the viper in DCS more easy or harder for us? Thank you

Hello! I wondered if every civil Building is destructable? I mean the one that are already on the map, not set by the mission builder. I have experienced that some are definately destructable, but does this count for all of them? Does it depend on the map? Gulf, Caucasus and so on? Thank you!

Hello! There was a thread about this but it got flooded with comments, so I didnt found an answer. Is it possible to get an Air to Air Refuel Cheat? Activated by a key command when flying near the tanker. I DONT WANT TO OFFEND ANY PEOPLE TRAINED IN A2A REFUELING NOR DO I TRIE TO CHANGE DCS WORLD INTO AN ARCADE GAME - I KNOW IT IS A SIMULATOR! (And it still would be an simulator, even with such a function) I dont write this thread to get hints and tipps for A2A refueling! For me it is just the lack of time. I dont have the time to train hundrets of hours for refueling, like realword pilots do. Thank you

Just go with Main switch to ON and use only dispense fwd to just use program 5. I think it is by default set to 1 chaff 1 flare in a few cycles. Not sure on this altough.

First I also thought it is quite weak, but it is just no wonder weapon, and armor is still armor. It really depends on height, angle and speed on the attack run. Much harder on newer tanks with better armor. I think it makes quite fun fiddling out the right direction for the attack.

I didn know this autoexec exists, so never changed anything. Also I never deleted anything from DCS folder... I searched for the autoexec.cfg and found it in the main DCS install folder, but there is no "disable_write_track = true" part to find. Do you know how to reconfigure it to get it working again? Thank you!

Hello! I just do my first steps online with the F/A18 and the A10C. Only flown in singleplayer so far for learning basics. I would like to fly on the Buddyspike Blue Flag server... But I think this is a bit too advanced for beginner!? Is there anything you can recommend for the motivated online beginner? Thank you
