  2. There is very old bug, i´ve explined it here ... The elevator trim-tabs plates are blocked. why?? i don´t understand. Even the real K4 had larger elevator trim-tabs than G2/R6 used by E.D. Team as reference for today FM.
  3. that was what i was afraid, because, we have not detailed automatic stats, with number of bullets hits, and name of the oponents in the fight, etc, like we have in iL2-GB servers.

I'm referring to complete automatic stats such we've in iL2 simulator saga, from 20 years ago, and similar we used to have in DCS servers, Burning skies, or Storm of war, etc I think stats are a incentive for participating more pilots and squads, because we could know who is our opponents, and how hard anybody fight.
  5. It is not a real-time stats, it is a simply edited stats copy-pasted manually from mission log.

Hi friends: Why there is not any DCS WWII server with real time stats as few years ago?. i remember, that a few years ago, there was a server named Burning Skies, in DCS, with awesome real time stats. Now none exist. By the way, a few days ago after shootdown a enemy fighter, in server Overlord, i noticed that, there are not record or stat in pilots list on-line, about air-kills or ground-kills of any players in game. Is this feature erased from game?? Any help will be apreciated.

  8. the main problem that i've in WWII Normandy map is to find enemies. the map is very large and targets and enemies are too far. i think it could be a boring experience for most of the people, fly a MSFS 15 or 20 minutes session to found a enemy. if you mainly want to practice dogfight again a human pilots, not against concrete-made Ai planes. A propert stats will be attractive too.

Even if we would give you the K4 operation manual, you could not do the real operational procedures,with the today FM, because you never could flight at cruise speed with neutral trim, as pilots did in wartime. By the way you can't set the elevator trim-tabs plates in "special settings" because they are deleted.
  11. i was purchased these K4 manuals, but the unfortunately they are only few chapters, they are incomplete.
  12. Yes, the keybinding command was removed, about two years ago. By the way, we can't see the starter crank spinning or the ground crew cranking it. ... only in a supercarrier you can see ground crew servicing or doing help to an airplane. I think?

  14. Yesterday i check with several squad mates on-line, that Landing Gear manual release of the Bf-109 K4, don´t work, after last patch ver. 2.9.12.5336. I ´ve checked it that emergency lever can pulled out clicking with mouse, and it move out, but nothing occurs.
  15. It is an absurd assumption that an airplane can be flown in neutral trim position but pushing the stick with force of more than 8 kg. That is Yo-yo would have us believe, but he have doing the DCS K4´s FM for level flight, with data from a soviet, full-power dive flight test of a Bf-109G2 with two underwing 20 mm cannons pods. By the way, we have only the indicator lights of the gunpods "Rustsatze" in the cockpit, but we have not the under-wings cannons available in the k4 of DCS.
  16. I have flying the Me-109 in all air combat simulator in the marquet from 2003 to today, because i'm member of virtual squad specialized in this aircraft. I´m pretty sure that the K4 of DCS have the worst flight Model (with neutral trim broken) of all K4´s that i have flying in flight simulators from 2003, even without taking in account the Mk-108/30 mm modelled as gummy shells. I'm amazed find people complaining about K4 manoeuvrability, and they are very agree with UFO maneuvering of the P-51`s of Spitfires in DCS. Watch my video taken in a MP server and chack the UFO manoeuvrability of th P-51 in minute 2:19, It is acceptable for you ? ... Problably you need some flight hours in a DCS K4 to feel the difference from a P-51.
  17. When i try to re-play a MP track, I have this error and game frizzed and i ´ve to close the game in system task manager. any idea how to fix it? By the way, single-player track re-playing is working properly
  18. soo there were FBW prior to F18 module yes or not? ... you should fly more simulators and more years before making assumptions.
  19. in game the K4 radiator flaps work perfectly synchronized in both wings, but in real live the Bf-109G hydraulic actuators of the radiator flaps have a little bit opening retard, comparing one wing, with the other. this cause a roll movements when open and close automatically. Volker Bau explained that he open the radiator flaps in manual mode because the unexpected automatic aperture of the flaps on take-off run could cause a unwanted bank in the worst time. As far i know, In the full open and full close positions of the both wings radiator flaps they don't affect to trim of the aircraft. null

That wouldn't happen if you were flying with the correct neutral trim ( aircraft leveled, straight, ball centered at cruise speed, hands-off and zero degrees trim position), because you would have the control stick in the center and whole stick travel for pulling all G´s that you want. Even you could trim -1º (nose-up) prior to engage in a dogfight like did Lt. Kurt Bühligen (112 victories) flying the Bf-109 G6. As we can read in the book P-47 vs BF-109G/K by Martin Bowman.
  21. As far i know DCSW is a E.D. development of the LOMAC released in 2003 with Su-25, Su-27, Su-33, Mig-29A, Mig-29C, F-15C, and A-10A some of them with computer aid for flight controls.

After 20 years working as aircraft mechanic, and with more than 25 hours fliying as pilot student, i think that probably we could have the same trim configuration problem in all warbirds modelled in DCS due to two basic things. 1/ Trimmers of an aircraft are not an exact science. Wind direction , speed, air density, etc change the aircraft behavior in same level flight condition in the real world.. Even the real pilots don't pay great attention to trimmers indicators because in flight they usually trimming the aircraft by feeling or flight attitude. But trim position must be checked in T.O. and landing checklists. 2/ the weight and balance and CoG position of the aircraft change if we change the load of the aircraft, via fuel consumption, dropping bombs, etc As we are doing in the real planes, the developers should model the neutral trim position for cruise flight with "typical" fuel and ammunition load. But after that the cruise flight trim position in the cockpit, will NOT be the same with the aircraft in full weapons and fuel load. Finally i'm not sure if developers of DCS are doing this in the Flight Models. As you must know DCS born for modern jet combat simulation, and many of these modern jet fighters have fly-by-wire control computers who trimming the aircraft automatically for a take off weight, .. so manual neutral trim was not needed, as we need today with DCS WWII aircrafts. This mean that many virtual pilots accustomed to jet fighters auto-trim, will feel rare behavior of the warbirds if the neutral trim is not properly modelled, for a typical take off weight and cruise speed.
  23. @Art-J and @motoadve I think that we cleared what was the true stabilizer trim configuration of the Bf-109G in cruise flight, in our interview to Flugmuseum Messerschmitt test pilot Volker Bau in 2016. The neutral trim modeling of the K4 in game is completely broken compared what Volker Bau said. ..and yes it is awesome, but it still broken from 2015.
  24. Spitfire’s had Hispano cannons jamming problem too in tight turns. Merlin’s cylinders heads had several overheat and leaks problems in several types what affected to P-51 too. TheSpitfire’s high pressure cooling system cause radiators explosions when they take a bullet hit, leaking all liquid in seconds, … could we have this in game too…? Even overboosted Merlín’s with 130 and 150 oc. Fuels burned the sparking plugs in less than 8 hours of flight causing pistons boring destroying the engine. Do you like these failures in game too.?. … please, read the book “the secret house power race” by Calum Douglas prior to write these silly things.
  25. By the way Full nose down in a real Bf-109k4 was +1º 10”. (Positive numbers). In game the trim gauge in the K4 show +2º in full nose down trim position. The stab. trim in this airplane is a very old and very know bug.
