It shouldn't be to hard to fly. I suggest you take a look at your axis controls. Also check If you have force feedback enabled. If so, turn it off. Last thing I can think of now could be that somehow your cas channels are off somehow. Try posting a trackfile.

Mine has allready updated a few days ago. I had like 3 patches the last couple of days.

Steam downloaded an update for me yesterday and I got the extra missions without manually downloading anything

Just a thing about ecm. It isn't properly modeled ingame right? I thought I read something about it a while back. Ecm had no effect on the range of launching of a sam.

I have no idea how the real aircraft should behave but I also noticed some weird thrust behavior. It seems to me that the aircraft slows down to fast when going below the said 80%. It also really rockets forward on the ground at 80%. I can still keep it in a formation but it just doesn't feel right to me. Again, it may be realistic but it seems off.

Isn't it exactly the same as your bvr cone. The eos camera and radar just can't slew beyond that cone. Which is 60 degrees both ways?

I didn't think my question would stir up so much. Let's keep it friendly :) -
Should I buy a new graphics or wait?

lol, fanboy.... I have a GTX 970 now, had an ATI HD5870 before. Not a fanboy at all. Just look at all the benchmarks and make a conclusion. Also, i expect that most people will be using it for other games aswell. -

GTX 980 is a bit faster for a lot more money. The 970 is just a great deal. -
Maybe deleting your input folder will help? I have never heard of anything like it. I did have some issues with aircraft acting weird with force feedback enabled, but nothing like you described. Otherwise reinstalling might be the fastest option. Has it always been like this?

What should it actually look like?

Since we are playing a simulator, you could ask yourself how realistic this scenario is (apart from the AAA being zsu-23). Being able to destroy 4 AAA in close proximity of another and an entire convoy might be a bit to much for a single P-51D. I haven't played this mission at all and only reply to what i've read so far though.

CAS is on by default.

I dont think so (though i dont know much about the a-10). The camera needs to see the target moving to track it (it recognises contrast difference?). If you then lock on another target the camera isnt tracking the other one anymore and can't follow it.

Ssd reliability has improved a lot. The crucial mx100 ssd's can write 40gb of data a day for 5 years before dying If I remember correctly.
-
I don't think it is ever going to happen. But if it does, i would buy both.

If I heard correctly, steam keys can be activated on the ed software, just not the other way around.

New nvidia drivers 344.48 dsr 700 series

Just applied 4k DSR aswell, but their are some scaling issues. Pointer gets way to big and some other stuff to small. Ingame it is awesome though. Especially viewing the outside of the aircraft. What is your smoothness setting rcjonessnp175? -

Does anyone have experience with dsr in DCS? I haven't looked at it yet. How much do you have to pay for performance wise and does it support 4k dsr at 120hz? I have a GTX970. -
Its english if i remember correctly, but their is a russian conversion available

Good gaming PC... from Amazon?
fixen replied to SeaQuark's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Not trying to sound like a ****, but when you ask that question i would not bother going for a cpu you can overclock. Just go for a fast intel i5 (the 4690), without the k. The overclockable CPU's are more expensive, so you can put that money into something you actually get a benefit from. Overclocking is not usefull for (most) gaming at all. I like to overclock, but it is more like a hobby. Some other uses will benefit from it though. I don't do anything special to my core assigning and i get a buttersmooth experience with ts and trackir too. But i would like to hear more about it. -

Actually I wouldnt use ramdisk at all. Just install it on your ssd. You wont notice the difference except you will first have to load it on your ram If you use ramdisk. The money you save on the extra ram you can put in an ssd wich you can also use for other stuff.
