Red Flag 4 Hitting the new NTTR Theater for DCS World!
fixen replied to FLANKERATOR's topic in Tournaments & Events
Somehow your tacview is corrupted. I did survive until the end of the round but somehow I suddenly die. Also I shoot R-27ET and R-77's from my F-15C which is a bit strange. -
Red Flag 4 Hitting the new NTTR Theater for DCS World!
fixen replied to FLANKERATOR's topic in Tournaments & Events
Had a really good time with the event. Definately going to join again. -
Well we could find out the problem If people record their takeoff with axis view enabled and post a track and maybe their entire config folder.

I understand that the radar of the AJS-37 is capable of tracking air targets. Will it be able to slew the seekers of it's AIM-9's to the locked air target? Or will we only be able to boresight lock?
-
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

log into the game. (for instance go to multiplayer). If the module is connected to that account, go to the module manager ingame. It will ask you if you want to download it. Module manager can be found next to the options button at the top leftish side of the screen.

Where can we see which modules are included in the 50% off deal. I would like to get the L-39 but i can only use 15$ off. Or is it not included in the 50% deal, which I would understand (it still being relativily new). Maybe the same for the mirage (haven't tried, i allready own it).
-
Have you invested money in their module? Oh wait, you have not. My god. How often do you need information...

You can still use steam keys on a standalone installation. So if steam is a lot cheaper, buy the keys on steam and bind those keys to your account and use them on the standalone

I have to respect your determination, that must have taken a lot of time testing all those laser codes.

[OLD BUG REPORTS] Cleaning and Organization of old posts
fixen replied to RAZBAM_ELMO's topic in Resolved Bugs
I think the police light is yet to be implemented. -
"When" is not known. But I can almost guarentee you that it will be on steam. I think they want to squish a lot of bugs first before releasing it on steam. This is all speculation on my part though. You could always go from steam to standalone. I did it with my installation and never had any regrets. Steam keys can be used on standalone.

All those road bases are pretty cool, but how many are there and how many aircraft are stored at such a place. As we can see, they are pretty easy to spot, so you could still bomb those roads and prevent any aircraft from taking of. Furthermore, you might miss a few, but then airpower is diminished so far allready that the few aircraft left can't do much against the enemy's airforce. As an enemy I would document all those location and send some cruisemissiles to those bases. The problem with having many small bases is that it is difficult to defend them all. But I might be totally wrong here, correct me If I am.

I think he means for sale, not on sale. It will be for sale on steam for sure, but I think it is going to take a while.

But is it also possible to slew the radar search cone left and right in the real aircraft? I ask because there is no such thing on the real HOTAS. Only slewing vertically. Or is it done by slewing the tdc to the edges? Just like the FC3 F-15C in tws mode.
-
Is there a way to slew the radar vertically and horizontally. I don't see anything in the axis setup. I have noticed that there is a slew for vertical radar movement on the throtle of the real aircraft. But i cant see it in the controller options. Is it also possible to slew the radar left and right when you have it in narrow beam. It does not seem to have an axis on the real aircrafts HOTAS. Edit: Also, are the controlls for adjusting the vertical and horizontal (balayage/lignes) width of the radar cone in the controller options? I would like those on my HOTAS aswell, even though they are not on the HOTAS of the real aircraft.

+1 to jammer jamming your own radar. Someone has to start the realism. ED might follow with the F-15C and SU-27 especially when the community starts talking about it. It should be quite an easy fix for the F-15C and SU-27. Just put jammer lines all over the display when you put your jammer on when the radar is also on.
-
If you are going to add it as a cheat, then please put it in the cheat tab. I like to know when I do stuff that is not realistic. The controls are still a mess anyway (which i get, beta). A lot of non-functional FC3 controls.

when i refresh the module manager it tells me an error occured, try again later.

Luckily I allready bought all modules (except L-39) with 70% off and I have to say I would never have bought so many of them if it wasn't for the 70% discount. I wonder how much difference there will be in the money they are going to make in the long run. With 70% off there is a really strong incentive to buy the modules especially for newcomers. Also, some of the modules I have barely played. Only bought them because of the discount.

thinking about 4k TV, will my system run ok?
fixen replied to steve2112's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
If you want to test the performance then test it by turning on DSR (dynamic super resolution) with DCS. It will render at 4K so you can see how your computer will hold up. -
If it is a Airbus helicopter than i guess it will be one of the following: H125, H135 or H145M militarised versions Armament: Rockets, gunpods and A2G missiles (Not on all) Eurocopter Panther AS565 Armament: A2A missiles, A2G missiles and anti submarine. H215 or H225 transport (cougar, super puma) Armament: Rockets, 20mm cannons. NH-90 Armament: Rockets, anti submarine. Tiger UHT, HAD, HAP or ARH Armament: Everything your heart desires.

Thank you! Someone is going to be very happy with that L-39.

I like your idea. Personally I don't like the idea of pulling the stick back and after a while it kicks in (or immediately). What if i wan't to make a looping on max but without using the emergency stick pull.

I think it works both ways
