Working on the HUD control box thing now. What do you think so far? It's very hard, and is going to take a while. I'm likely going to scrap the large knob gray knob and start with something new. While I could go back and re-do the VSD and TWES, I thought this was the first thing people see when they enter the cockpit and needs to be done. It's a daunting task! Aero

The pack can be installed with modman and includes only the gauges and the MPCD (Sorry, no radar scope or TEWS, as these were done a while ago and frankly, they suck atm. Update 3/12/10 The pitch ladder in the ADI still has to be done. Cabin pressure. Unfortunatly, you get some really weird parallax issues on the screws here. It looks fine in a normal, non-zoomed-in view. Aero

Addon.lga3 is a modman file and you shouldn't have to worry about it. However, I encourage you to use modman as it makes things very easy for 99% of mods made for lockon. I do not know anything about the FPS tweak mod other than that it adds a visibility setting. I do not have the tweak installed as I find it confusing and does some things to my install that I do not understand. To use modman, just open 'mods installer" and click "add" to add an addon to the list. Click on the addon (it should be red) and then click "install." It will think for a second, and then turn green. That means it's installed. Yellow means files are shared between mods or is just partially intalled. you can also install file-by-file using the file-by-file list at the bottom right. This is looking great yoda! Quick question. If I wanted to use this, I would naturally have to get another screen. Unfortunately, both of my video card DVI slots are taken (I have 2 22" monitors. One on my desk, one in my pit). Is it possible to put LEAVU on a small, say 7" usb touchscreen? (is there such a thing?) The picture in your sig hints it might be a yes. Thanks Aero

Update 3/7/10 Improved HSI compass ring Got some lights done. This was on the same image as the compass ring... 4 new gauges (AOA, Accelerometer, Clock and Backup Airspeed) Everything in blue or with white text is stuff I've done. And in red! I'm actually really liking the red. Anyone know where to find the textures for the numbers in the Altimeter and HSI (Course and Distance counters)? Anyway, Enjoy Aero

Sorry, Double post here. What does the square light/button in between the 2 fire warning lights say? The stock image sucks and I can't read it. I want to think it's APU fire, but that's not what it seems like. It says something like "AMALD" but I have no idea what that is and if it's even close to correct. Anyone have any ideas? Aero

I can change it no problem. I didn't know the transponder worked with numbers other than base 10. If there are any other corrections that need to be made, just tell me. Aero

Good News! I'm moving right along. Also, I'm really beginning to get a feel for making these and have begun to develop my own technique. Bad news: because I'm getting better, I am likely going to have to go back to older gauges and do them again to put them up to par with the others. oh well. anyway, update 3/4/10 A few modifications to the MPCD The latest dials Night lights! Suggestions suggestions suggestions!!! I want them! The more I think about it, the more I really have a desire to do the red lights. It's a simple hue change, so I'm definitely going to do it. This is amazing! I really do hope the fuel tanks come with it! One question. Are the missiles on the fuselage going to be attached so they point off center (outwards) a bit like the real F-15? I know this wasn't possible and used to be an issue for 3D modelers in lockon in the past. Has this been fixed for DCS and FC 2.0? I like the idea of having this released separately, so it doesn't slow down the regular development of FC 2.0. I wonder, will those MiG and Su-27 models from a while back be released in the same manner? (Just thinking out loud) Thanks. This is amazing! I'm glad the fighters haven't been completely forgotten. Ok, I think I know where this is going, and i'm going to address it right now. I am NOT interested in trying to compete with jumpers mod. I'm making this mod for myself. I posted it here in case others were interested and if it would be worth pursuing in it's entirety. It is an alternative to jumpers mod. variety is always good! His seems to take a very warn and used look. Mine will be very clean and refined. As for the lights. I will probably make a red version. However, expect it to be much more red. I hate the stock orange-ish color. I don't have a package to download at the moment. I will once all of the main gauges are complete. i expect to do one every few days, (maybe one a week?) but don't hold me to it. Aero

Hey all Well, the F-15 desperately needs a cockpit makeover. I started these a while back and I think I'm going to begin again. I did the MPCD today and yesterday (still not finished. It's complicated) and I hope to complete all of the gauges some day. I thought I'd post what I have so far. There are still errors. This is just rough at the moment, but I hope it will come together well! Lights not done for all gauges I've done so far. Sorry. (Does anyone like the blue lights? I do) I should also mention I'm not that interested in photo realism. Often, I find it to be a bit too fake for my liking. Thus, I have gone for a very clear, readable feel. What do you think? If anyone wants to help in any way, just give me a shout! I have no problem giving away my GIMP files for others to work on, so long as I'm given (some) credit. :) Thanks Aero

I haven't heard anything, but it's unlikely. I don't think ED would want to drag politics or stuff like this into it. It's an interesting idea however. I, personally, have no issues with it. However, I can't speak for anyone in Georgia or Russia. Aero
