I get this black semi-circular thing in my cockpit now that I've installed Gys'/Valery's F-15C. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has it. Is there a way to get rid of it? Thanks Aero

If you're good, you can try to put it out in a near-by lake. ;) The handles between your legs in a good idea too though, if both engines are out. Aero

I take it these techniques have been tested rigorously? This is looking great guys. Looking like a great online environment for both eagle and flanker pilots! However, the best part is most definitely the required valid heat-seeker lock for a guided heater launch. No more spammed ETs. Looking forward to my R-27ER upgrade! lol I prefer the flanker, but I do fly the eagle too :). What I hope for is a sim with a good amount of realism, but also with a thought for enjoyable game play included as well. I believe that to be equally important. Now prepare for all the hard-core simmers to pour every last bit of their worst hatred upon me for even suggesting such an idea. :D Aero

I don't think it's going to turn into an I-fly-an-eagle-so-I-must-be-inherently-better-than-anyone-flying-anything-else kind of sim that I know a lot of people are hoping for. Other than everyone's beloved AMRAAM, I expect there will be a lot more R-27ER kills too, and on that note, fewer ET kills. Sorry to disappoint you eagle pilots, but I'm sorry you might actually have a challenge when it comes to facing other pilots who aren't using the AMRAAM. Oh, I know, god forbid! :D Aero

Yup, tried it. The thing is, I can hear it fine through headphones, but through my normal speakers (5.1 surround) I find the high-pitch beeps very hard to hear all of a sudden. Very strange. The audio sliders seem to do next to nothing in game as well. Come on, 2.0! Aero

I can't use alchemy as I use realtek, but I think I'm going to give 3D soundback a try again. I couldn't get it to work, but I think it's worth another try. Aero

I cannot hear my RWR or TEWS. It's strange, as this just started happening today. I tried overwriting the sounds folder with no result. I played with the audio sliders... nothing. I re-booted the computer, and it did something, I could just barely hear it, but not loud enough over the engines. I tried re-adjesiting the sliders. Same thing, very quiet. I reset it back to default. No RWR sound at all. Any ideas? This may be a win 7 sound bug, but it's strange it's only happened now. 2.0 just can't come fast enough. Aero

Not sure what you mean by that... Anyways, at the moment I only have the screws left to do. However, I want people's opinions of the switches and the knobs at the bottom of the device. So, what do you think? The honest truth is, I can't think of another technique to do the knobs. This is the best result I could get after quite literally hours of experimentation. I know I've asked this before, but are they turned outwards a bit like in real life or staggered like on the current walmis F-15 model? no problem if you can't though. It's still looking awesome! I'm not quite sure what you mean. I suppose both mods could be installed at the same time. If the user has some knowledge of modding, he could choose which parts he wants and mix-and match the pieces of the two mods together into the lockon install. Just a thought Aero
