Switching off SSAA solves this issue, as per the hornet and viper threads.

Same problem for me in the A-10 II, they say they can't reproduce and they need a track file.

For me the NVG on latest build, non MT, is not centered around head position and zoomed in.

Yeah it is pretty good, flown it about six times over the years, never gets old, easier but not old.

The rotor shaft, or whatever it's called changes depending on whether they are spinning or not.

Yeah I feel that way quite often, the bad performance is the pits for me, it's the one thing that truly makes me want to throw in the towel and find something else to do.

I have been running the Disable Fullscreen Optimizations option since this "fix" was implemented, it was the first thing I thought of doing, it makes no difference.

Fact is, the current iteration of DCS doesn't run flawlessly performance wise here.

ED disabled it, it was used to gain performance by switching between windowed mode to full screen while in the sim, many games do this, ED says they fixed it so there is no difference now between windowed and full-screen, but they are wrong, you are now stuck in windowed mode and performance for many of us has suffered because of it. Yeah well they are wrong, why they break something that doesn't need to be fixed is just mind boggling to me, kinda like "hold on my roof works, maybe I should take it down".

@Cyborg71I get the 60-59 thing as well, even before this patch, and for no reason I can understand, it's goes away as I fly then comes back all in this same session but it never really causes any problems, apart from triggering my OCD of course. @-303-, I think the ALT-ENTER thing is a windoze quirk, not a DCS thing that's why you won't find a reference to it. Some apps allow you to switch from fullscreen to windowed using the keystroke. But thanks for doing all that work though, at least you cleared up a few things. When you get to my ripe old age of you forget <profanity>, but I am sure we have had the ALT-ENTER problem happen before in a patch where it doesn't work and then the next patch it works but it has never effected me this badly. All I know is I am not overly impressed with the latest patch, to me it's pretty terrible and I attribute it to the fact I am stuck in windowed mode as it feels exactly as it always does when I am in that mode, I hate it when I lose performance especially when you spend days tweaking it to get the best possible combo, I get so irritated, makes me want to sell all my crap and go herd sheep or train goldfish to do calculus.

This doesn't solve anything for me, feels like it's still stuck in windowed mode, like you I have them on all the time, before this latest patch I used to be able to cruise over forests in a helo no problem, now I lose 10-15fps which turns it into a stutterfest, when that happened in the past it was because I had ALT-Tabbed to read the manual or pretend I was working when the wife came in and then forgot to ALT-ENTER when I went back into the sim.

I use these, works fine for me, I didn't come up with these curves I stole them from someone else on the forums a while back.

Ok make sense now whats going on, thanks Aeria, wish I read this before I left a comment in the bug section. I will play around with it and see which way I am going to deal with it.

Forward flight is fine, apart from the collective but I created a curve on it and now feels as it normally does, takeoff however feels very odd. What I have noticed is that I have to use a lot of right pedal on take off , and I mean a lot, way more than I am used to, and it also feels like it wants to roll over too easily, makes me feel like a novice again. I don't normally fly with the indicators on, but I will give that a go and see, so thanks.
