  1. Yeah that's my plan too.
  2. Yeah that would be good.
  3. DCS is many things, super easy and quick is not one of them though .

    Unit ID

Yes that's correct it does work that way. This is the number that gets assigned as the bort. I remember back in the day there was a Mission Editor mod that had a some fancy wizardy, so I thought maybe something like that existed with this option, not sure if that mod had that option though, I don't think it did.

    Unit ID

If you use for example static planes, the mission editor makes the unit ID the bort number, it triggers the crap out of my ocd. A few days ago I checked the .miz file, albeit in a cursory manner and could not find anything there, I will comb thought it and see if I can find it. I thought about trying the respawing idea before I posted this question, but there are too many static units for that to be a viable option, although that should work if you are creating a mission from scratch. It's not that important, I can just change the statics to non static and the ocd problem is solved, I was more more curious than anything else.

    Unit ID

Anyone know of a way to change the unit ID number that the mission editors assigns, (Not the bort number)
  7. Yeah gets old real fast.
  8. +1 on the parking brake issue.
  9. ^^This^^
  10. Very nice, thanks. Perhaps consider separating them as png files to use with kneeboards?
  11. Yup, I went back to default bindings and that sorted it out, thanks TOViper.
  12. That's odd, I don't get the second page. Thanks I will look into it. Thanks mate, I will check that out, I don't use the default keybinding, so you may have saved me a bit of effort.
  13. Yes, those are the only two pages that list airfield codes for nevada. Not a big deal, I just thought I would mention it as I doubt many people that fly the Viggen will be taking off or landing at Lincoln, so just an fyi for the devs.
  14. This works, thanks mate. Not sure if it's how it will be from now on and not even sure it is doing the fix properly, I will have to fly around some more and see.
  15. Ok great, I will give that a go and see what happens. All the waypoints that were loaded disappear, so if you do a fix at say B1 (T1 then TV) and then you select b4 immediately after that, it's gone, it shows 0 on the distance indicator. Wiping the data cartridge was perhaps not the best way to explain it. Have not tried pressing T0 after TV, will give that a whirl. I would like the middle position to disengage whichever is currently active, but not SPAK. ATM you can disengage ATT (not SPAK) by flicking the switch down again while it's active, but that means you have to move the switch to the middle position first and then back to the Down position. HOJD/ATT does not work that way. Once you move it out of the Up position to the middle position while engaged it will disengage, but since the patch it keeps ATT on and only disengages HOJD. Thank you
  16. Trying to do a nav fix, T1 then TV, seems to wipe the data cartridge of all waypoints that were added while in the cockpit. On the warthog throttle it was possible to add ATT/HOJD to the three way switch (PATH/ALT-HDG/ALT) where center would turn it off and UP (in my case I used up) would engage it, since the update, returning the switch to the center only disengages the HOJD and not the ATT as it did before. When used separately the ATT never worked the same way as the ATT/HOJD, would be nice if you could fix that to make the center disengage that too. The velocity vector also seems to be out of whack, in level flight it is high on the HUD giving the impression you are climbing.
  17. This really is an impressive feat, top quality.
  18. Main reason I don't use user skins anymore, it just gets too untidy over time.
  19. In my experience you need a steady framerate for trackIR, 60 or 120, it doesn't seem to like anything else. You could also make sure you are in full screen, there are a couple of threads about that here the ED forums, not sure how it would effect you though, a trial and error session would be the best way to figure that one out.
