  1. First, we need something to torpedo.
  2. I have been for a long time.
  3. I am returning my Reverb tomorrow, after finding out that some damage to my right eye means I am unable to use a VR headset. It keeps me from attaining enough stereoscopic vision. Such is life.
  4. It doesn’t matter if the Zero is less capable than a Corsair. That’s what they had a lot of. Now, if we were to get a Tony or a Raiden etc, than that would be a different story.
  5. Is there a way to center the picture, as in TrackIR?
  6. Within steam search the store for windows mixed reality and see if you have that downloaded. If you do, when you right click the app and go to settings, there is a beta tab you can go to and opt into the beta version of this app. Within steam search the store for windows mixed reality and see if you have that downloaded. If you do, when you right click the app and go to settings, there is a beta tab you can go to and opt into the beta version of this app. It is asking for a code. What is it?
  7. It is a Reverb. SS settings. Custom. Res 150. Custom multi 122%. Motion smoothing global. Reproject. on. FPSVR 204. Smoothing enabled. Advanced SS filter on. Dash scale 100%. Desk scale 110% Let me know if I missed anything. Thanks,
  8. Yes to all 3. I have the latest version of Windows. I have flown VR in DCS, but the cockpits are very blurry. In the P-51, for instance, the only thing in focus is the head pad saying "NO HAND HOLD". Thanks for whatever you can do.
  9. Are you one of those that grew up with computers? Sure, you can right click on the black box. But, how did you know what settings to pick? So, we are back to the “what” without the “how”.
  10. Yes. I’m the guy that suggested it should be stickied. But, it’s more of the “what” to do than “how” to do it.
  11. I've had the Reverb Pro for 5 days, now. I'm getting close to giving up on it, because there is so much that needs to be done to get it working. There are lots of places to go for help, like this thread, but the general assumption is that I know things I don't really know. I see advice on what to do, but almost nothing on HOW to do it. One thing that bothers me is that HP, and others, haven't included an owners manual that takes you through the setup procedure, and no software to do most of the heavy lifting for the buyer. I would imagine that most people using VR, and computers in general, grew up with computers. The rest of us didn't. The rest of us know only enough to get in trouble and become easily frustrated. It seems to me that VR, right now, is mostly for early adopters. Maybe, hopefully, it will become as easy as buying a new smart phone. I just did that, and it didn't come with a owners manual, either. I'm wondering if there are any other flight sim users out there in my situation that are suffering in silence. And would buy a VR headset if only the setup process was much easier.
  12. How do I get to SteamVR settings.? Sorry, I'm new to this whole VR thing.
  13. How do you set the resolution in WMR?
  14. Why dos the DCS window keep showing up at the very bottom of the screen when I open DCS? I just bought an HP Reverb.
  15. How about making any threads about “vr4DCS” and “fpsvr” stickies? I found them by accident, and I think all new VR HMD owners should be aware of their existence. I don’t think I could have done without them.
  16. This is why I asked the original question. Admittedly, I was thinking how it is done in a Cessna, at the time. So, if not lowering the nose wheel is the way to go, there is no reason to worry about the nose extension. Glad I learned something.
  17. Let’s see, I’ve got $12. How much more do we need?
  18. Google “F-16 for sale”. Only $8.5M!!! OMG.
  19. Is the TNGames device still around? I saw it is listed for sale at Walmart, but I haven’t seen a YouTube video, for instance, newer than 2009.
  20. How about the Shangri-La CVA-38?
  21. So, your speed after touch down makes the extension unnecessary. That’s what I thought. Thanks,
  22. After touch down, is it necessary to extend the nose wheel before the “Go”? Or, does your speed make it unnecessary?
  23. Well, here's your chance. https://entertainment.theonion.com/blue-angels-hold-first-ever-open-tryouts-1819570388
  24. That worked. Thanks,
  25. I downloaded and tried the MB339, and decided against it. How do I delete it? Thanks,
