I found if I "Maximize" the icon, it pops up as it should. Why would it need that to be done? After maximizing, the app is at "Idle" and nothing can be clicked open.

I would love to see night fighters, both red and blue. Mosquitos, Beaufighters, Ju-88’s and 110’s. Reds go after the night time raids on England. Blues go for Wellingtons and Blennies over France and the Low Countries. We would need some airborne radar, to make it feel real, though. Search lights everywhere, flak going off. Even “wild sow” flights. Bombers could spawn in over the Channel, so that people wouldn’t be flying around for hours, waiting for bombers to arrive. IL2 1946 had something, but it never got to where it should be. Go fot it.

I just updated to the latest version, and the icon shows up at the bottom of the screen, but won't open.

How do you log on? Once logged on, does that take you out of "Idle"? How do you get the checked modules/terrains/etc to save?

I use Reshade in CloD, but don’t know how to install it in DCS. Can you help? What other settings do you use in DCS? Thanks, TWC_SLAG

How many minutes are you talking about, times how many modules you own? Get serious, re-doing all those settings is a major pain in the ***. “Precious”? , jeez!

No need to download the hot fix, if you have already downloaded V1011, which includes the hot fix.

I have the right folders. What about the zipped/unzipped question? What about the scenery? I suppose that will also be determined by the server.

The loading instructions say to download the zip file and unzip it. Then, they say put the unzipped file in Mods/Aircraft. I don't understand that. Does Mods/Aircraft get the zipped or the unzipped file? Once I have the right file downloaded in the right place, how do I choose it to be flown, and do I need the Persian Gulf scenery? Thanks,

After this latest update, the game opens to a picture of some wooded hills and mountains, but will go no further. I have run the update, the repair, and the cleaner, with no joy. I tried to attach my dcs.log file, but was told it was invalid. I may have done something wrong. Could I get some good instructions on how to do it right? Thanks.

Could the Log data for hours flown, user name, rank, etc. get erased during an update? Or, are they stored on my computer? Mine are gone as of the update in early September. Everything was reset to zero or blank. Along with all control settings. DCS says they didn't do it, and I sure wouldn't have done it knowingly.

After the latest update, all “help” settings had been reset to 100%, and ALL other settings were reset to default. Not a happy camper.

No luck. It says I have no previous versions. I did find some config/input files for each module in me F drive. But they are, at best, 10 moths old. Thanks

I have only Open Beta. From what you said, the only module with any settings is the P-51D. So, looks like I need to re-do the others. Thanks, for the help ~S~
