wow I just sent a email to Steel Beast about how they should get into DCS and this was the reply I got... Guess I can share what Ive learned.. They have been in contact with matt (in the past) who apparently was not interested in collaborating. They seemed to be pretty optimistic about a combined product, but with this and the challenges involved to make it actually happen, I dont want to get my hopes up.. I think a propper ''CA'' would benefit the world of DCS... I own CA but I dont use it as I find it kinda boring as it is now....... Like we have all these different planes as modules, it would be awesome to have seperate high detailed vehicle as a module, with a propper ''cockpit'' etc.... for online experience, you dont have to set up the vehicles to drive for hours to reach the battlefield..... Edit: this was the message I sent them: Hope Im not breaking any rules here forwarding this conversation :)

Is the F-14 really in use? I thought they were ''stationed'' for no spare parts etc... When the conflict versus 'merica escalated, Iranian quickly discovered that the Tomcats were unable to fire any of its missiles which happened just after the Grummans engieers/crew/staff or whatever fled the country, and to this day theres no official words on what really happened but there were rumors that the engineers took with them electronic systems, as a sabotage.... How operational is the Iranian F-14 today?

Im guessing southern Mediterranean Sea, Libyas so-called 'Line of Death'. As the A variant might ''be in tune with an early 80s airframe'', and 4 planes were shot down in this area between 1981-89, I think this might make up for a little theater with a campaign which will give us some nice carrier ops too. I think a theater around Mediterranean would be nice at least..

lol when you start to scale things up or down to suit the ''players'', all were left with is just another game and not a simulator.... Im 100% confident that things wont be scaled down or up or nerfed or buffed to suit the players and balance, as DCS seems to be all about its name, beeing a simulatior! I dont know how good the Phoenix missiles are Im sure theyre pretty dangerous against huge targets like bombers at a long distance, but vs fast maneuvering targets?? I dunno, but I hope they'll make it as real as possible. Btw; As the Tomcat were able to be fitted with x6 AIM-54, This configuration were ''Rarely used due to weight stress on airframe''. I cant help but picturing myself that every servers will be filled with cats carrying 6 Phoenix's....

Im guessing theres still two more aircrafts in advanced development that is waiting for an official announcement.. Got my hope up for a Corsair, no idea what the 3rd one might be, so excited!

Maybe a better rendering solution, and it will probably all improve when 4k gets more used. But I find it dumb, to make an object LARGER at a distance just so YOU can see it better which imo is just another selfish thought.... smh I find it good as it is now, and yes, it is challenging but its not that bad...... Maybe, you need top vision to join the air force irl for a reason?? ;)
