I was thinking of a dragging chute as in one to slow down your plane during landing, mainly becouse of the binded key in the control options. Thanks for your answer, +1.

I got a question regarding Dragging Chute. I have yet not been able to deploy it, which should be deployed with the key P. Does the Eagle really have a Dragging chute at all? And if so, how do you deploy it? is there some kind of speed limit? If there is no Dragging Chute at all, how come we got a binded key for it?`

what you mean by AFM+? Does the FC3 Su-25 have better FM then the ''free'' DCS Su-25T? It would make more sence if the free version got a more complete FM or that theyre both pretty equal since its pretty much the same plane, right? Just curious here of what you mean by AFM+

Hey guys. Sorry I havent been much active lately. To help you out, this profile works with the Saitek x55 software that you got with the stick. It makes each buttons and triggers on your HOTAS to work as a single or multiply keyboard inputs. E.g the HOTAS trigger button works as SPACEBAR which means u can ''type'' with your HOTAS in a text/word program to make a space between words or two letters. You simply have to load the profile in within the Saitek Software then profile it from there. Heres a little video on how its done:

I think all the 10 airfields are the max number of airfields the list can show. Its basically the 10 closest airfields. Other then that I cannot help you with your question. Edit: If I understand it correctly, the first airfield is the closest one, the 10th are the one most far away from you.

UPDATED: Enjoy this final update :) EDIT: NEW PROFILE UP Cleaner and easier to remember they keys. Hope you'll enjoy it, feel free to do with it as you'd like. This one is suited with an additional head tracker device as there is no view on this profile. Zoom only. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1018080/ This one should also be more printer friendly for those who can only print black and white. Made to fit an entire A4 page to print sideways.

Yeah it shouldnt be so hard to figure it out really :) I had to learn by myself.

I think he is asking on how and when you will use it. Trim is used to stress the pilot less e.g in a climb. As a plane usually will go straight forward, climbing for a longer period of time, trim is usually used so that the pilot dont have to put forces to the stick over time. Here, elevator trim (trim up) is used. To be honest, I dont really use it that much myself but then again, I havent done much longer flight as a navigation or keeping my plane on a set course, which is when trim is usually used the most (i think). Please help him if you can put it into words easier then me with more details to it :) Help him out..

Hey, OP. I just finished my setup for the x55. I will upload it with pictures for the different commands. Im sure you will get some use of it. I got one profile without any kind of tracker and one with trackir. Just give me a few hours becouse I still have to draw the thr (using paint) but firstly I need to wake up :) I know how hard it may be starting off fresh with the ingame tutorials. I first started on the F15 a week ago and Im halfway trough the manual. The hardest part is mapping your HOTAS :) I will PM you once I get it all ready later today. Edit: Reading trough the posts here I might have got you wrong. Are you new to the F-15 and wondering which buttons to priorities for your gear? Edit2: Instead of reading ''recent'' I somehow read ''common'' lol english aint my native language :)

(edited) Really?? If its so wrong and you obviously knows the real thing, WHATS THE NUMBER?? Or are you just another smartass kid? Wheres that facepalm smiley..

I went to my closest social office and printed out those 150 pages :) Well worth it :D When I get my HOTAS (x55) completed I would like to share my profile and hopefully I will get some feedback to maybe learn some more :) Im about halfway or so trough the manual and my HOTAS is close to ready.. There could be some better basic tutorials out there though. There are some few issues Im having a hard time with such as different sensors imputs that the manual doesnt cover.. EDIT: One thing I dont seem to get is the Radar Pulse Repeat Frequency Select (RShift+I). In the manual it says ''. You can cycle between HI, MED, and interleaved by pressing [RShift + I]''. Once I hit this key I can swap between HI or MED frequency, but it wont change back to interleaved no matter how many times I hit it or how long I wait between each commands. This is while in BVR mode.. Nor does it say anything clear about the RWR/SPO Mode Select (RShitf+R) which only seems to turn off the or deactivate the TEWS? Im trying to learn as much as possible and gather most of the needed information by myself then come up with a list that I really need help with in the end, but this is just an example. Really should have some kind of ingame tutorials that goes in dept with the different systems..

Im at 35k feet as we speak and just reached my fastest speed so far. My true airspeed on the VSD tells me Im going 1100knots but I cant get any faster. This is my fastest speed Ive reached so far, dumped all external fuel tanks.. I dont get how you can reach 1400 knots. And how its this something you would use e.g online.. I mean, it burns alot of fuel! As for now, Im flying with unlimited fuel with indestructable and so on just to get to know all the different systems and so on, will try to reach these speeds with limited fuel later on and see how little time it will take to run me dry.. It sure wont be the first time Im running out of fuel! :)

As the title says. E.g joining Instant Action, I allways have 1 aim9 while the rest are MRM rockets. Fair enough since this is only Instant Action (unless Im missing somthing here), but what about create fast mission etc etc.. Or can I at least change or setup my own type of weapons in Multiplayer? Edit: I am still testing around with weapons etc and so far Ive selected unlimited weapons in the options. Im not ready to take it to the skies yet or even join a mission but Im getting there :)
