PM sent to Burnhard. Would love to fly and chat sometime because I've been eyeballing TAW for a while now.

Happy new year to all of you as well! Looking forward to taking it up for a spin again soon, it is an absolutely beautiful aircraft that you have put together. Good luck with all future modules as well, I can't wait to see what the future brings.

"ARGO" DCS UH-1H SP Campaign - Upcoming DLC
TaxmanTom replied to gregzagk's topic in UH-1H Argo Campaign
Awesome! Looking forward to it :) -
The Kobo (e-reader brand) store. But I'm sure you'll be able to find it in most places that sell them.
-
E-readers :) And if you don't want one of those, a lot of ebook stores also let you read on your tablet/phone/pc/etcetera.

I haven't played the A-10C campaign, but I would pick something like that up for the MiG-21 for sure. Would love some extra training.

Now that you mention it, I had problems with the second and third mission as well. The morse code didn't seem to match up with what it was supposed to be. I remember the morse for 395 being off. 489 didn't seem right to me either, but that may just have been me missing the right one (coastline was sufficient anyway so I didn't bother fiddling more). Are you going to open a general bug/correction report thread, Apache? Here's a tiny little one

Well Golani, I just finished the fifth mission (very succesfully btw!) and so far it has been quite manageable. I'm not sure if it's intended to be like this (I can't imagine it isn't), but it feels like at least the first missions are just to let you get comfortable with the plane. In a very fun way! (Speaking for the F-86 for the moment). Besides, campaigns like these are a perfect reason to -after looking through the next mission's briefing- jump into the editor first for some training for that mission :) So even if you don't consider yourself competent at the plane, you'll now have almost two dozen good reasons to learn. I'd say go for it. I don't think you'll find a nicer reason to intimately learn two of your aircraft. Edit: I'm sure I'll start to get my rear end beaten soon enough, of course. Especially after saying the above. That'll show me.

Definitely this. English cockpit would probably help a lot too. Just take small steps and with the interactive training have a piece of paper ready. Pause to read the messages at your own pace, then write down the switches that need flicking. After you've made your list you can then hop a cold start and see if you wrote it down correctly. If you did, woohoo. If it doesn't work, fiddle around to try and make it work or just go through the training again. Just take your time with it, don't rush things :)

Would it be an option to just put your steam codes on an account on the website and just switch over? That way you get a lot of stuff much sooner :)

The Museum Relic Campaign - Need *both* planes?
TaxmanTom replied to hansangb's topic in The Museum Relic Campaign
That's a huge shame. This campaign deserves to be bought and played. Hopefully they'll think of a great solution by next friday. -
Hey, Just wanted you guys to know that I'm having a blast with this so far. I just finished the fourth mission in the F-86 and I'm looking forward to the fifth a lot. This is a great reason to start training to become a bit more competent with these fine planes. I could do the basics and I could do them well enough, but when it's a mission where you have a long flight in, you want to be sure that you can do whatever it is you were sent there to do. So thanks to all who were involved in making this. The briefings, the voice acting, so far it's all coming together as one fun package!

Love it! I adore the gazelle and I'm sure this will be a top notch helo too :)

black screen after changing control assignment 1.5.4 release
TaxmanTom replied to gavagai's topic in Resolved Bugs
Thank you, I was having the same trouble and this fixed it. Deleting the input and repairing did not work for me, but the above worked like a charm :) -
I just switched over to windows 10 because my old PC got all kinds of mangled up. So I upgraded. Bit wonky, but seems nice.
-
Whatever the reason and as painful as it is to see yet another date fly past the cockpit window, more power to them. Unless they plant their behinds firmly on their hands for the next few months, the release can only become better with this delay. They'll get my cash. I'm too weak to resist the urge and I know it. Not a huge fan of the lack of campaign and 10 dollars more than the 'normal' asking price. Small market and a lot of work to put in, I guess. I'd rather see the modules stay a bit lower price wise and then see some more DLC in the form of campaigns, extended training campaigns, perhaps single-mission packs and possibly even variants.

The campaign for the MiG 21 pushed me to go outside my comfort zone and really train on certain areas that I hadn't paid much attention to before. I'm sure this campaign is going to do the same for the gazelle! Looking forward to it. From that preview it looks like it's going to be very lively with the radio chatter and everything.

Yes, thank you very much! Looking forward to whatever the future brings from you guys. The M2000C is incredible, an absolute blast and now rather than just flying the MiG21 all the time, I now also shoot them out of the skies!

Lijkt me super, ik zou graag wat meer Nederlanders leren kennen om mee te vliegen. Met name een TS kanaal om samen te komen en dan te gaan vliegen in eigen missies of op servers.

Thank you very much Chuck!

Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the update! Everything you guys are up to is very exciting and I wish you all the best with it :) Have a great Christmas and best wishes for the new year.

Yep, you can just buy it from the store. The key will show up in your account and you'll get it through email as well. Then you can start up DCS, go to the 'modules' part of the menu and log in to the account you use for the store. After that, it should give you the option there to download the mig21 module. Shipping address is just something you have to fill out for some reason, even when nothing actually needs shipping. I assume it's something to do with credit cards and whatnot. So don't worry there, just fill in the form and it's all good. As for the beta part. I'm not sure what downloading the beta version from the website actually does, but you don't have to do that. Just buy the module so you get the key, then start up DCS World and activate your module in the 'modules' menu. Good luck and good flying! The MiG is absolutely fantastic! :D

1.- C 2.- B (though I'm sure there would be some demand when 2 seaters work in MP) 3.- D (Spanish + French + English. Assuming that's not too high a cost. Otherwise just go with the original languages and I'll wait for the inevitable English cockpit mod :P But I'd like to have it in English right from the start) 4.- A Even in its unfinished state, I really enjoy the C-101 and I'm sure you'll make something beautiful out of these planes as well.
