Cubanace: I've always been a fan of your potential (wish you finished the SU-17) and thought your critics were out of line. I do think you, unnecessarily, shot yourself in the foot when it came to RAZBAM. That being said, I look forward to your endeavors as a third party dev team ( assuming that's what your shooting for). You have skill, the desire to learn, tenacity and hopefully a new sense of humility that will not see you shooting back at every online naysayer. The Kfir is a good choice for DCS and I wish you nothing but the best.

Hence the stated reason behind making SPO-15/CM optional. For those people/servers that want a struck MLA, it's SPO-10/no CM. For those players/servers who want an MLD-ish MIG-23, they have the option of SPO-15/CMs.

Thanks for the correction. :thumbup: If I understood you correctly, you are modeling a version with the SPO-10 and one with SPO-15? If so, will changing between early and late MLA versions be done in the options menu or are they two different models you're making?

I get the feeling we'll get whatever the aircraft RAZBAM has access to has on it. Soviet aircraft were never truly standardized, and there were versions within versions, so SPO-10 + CM would not be unrealistic. Zeus seemed to hint earlier in this thread that the MLA we'll get will have flares.

What other modules?

Starting to get concerned over the thundering silence regarding this surprise, especially considering it's been over a week since 1st mentioned and all the other drama since.

As I said around December of last year...my guess remains EA in late AUG/early SEP 2018.

Install open beta. There's really not much difference right now between open beta and release version.

Has nothing to do with info available. Poland/Germany/Moldova/etc all flew MIG-29. USAF owned/tested over 40 MIG-29 of various models after Cold War. Info is well documented and out there. This has to do with ED being based in Russia and this subject to Russian laws. If ED were based in the USA, we'd have ability to have DCS quality MIG-23/29. ED has vaguely hinted that they've been in communication with some entity of the Russian Gov. Hopefully it will bear fruit and we can get some 80's era DCS Soviet jets.

So we can't get full fidelity 80's era Soviet aircraft, but we can get re-treading of already made aircraft? FC3/4 makes sense as a middle-ground for aircraft that can't be made into full modules. I don't see the logic to this new idea, but I do wish you well.

My guess is that this is intentional. Probably not great PR for ED when someone (and you know it will happen) puts up Youtube videos of dropping JDAMs on mosques.

ED did all the trademarked hotels in Vegas. They just modified the names in a tounge-in-cheek way. If they wanted to do the Fararri World, they'd just make some modifications to avoid trademark.
