  1. It’s a video game. If your sentimentalities don’t allow for napalm/nuclear weapons/ cluster munitions/ bullets/ etc then don’t use them. Don’t use your individual etthics as a reason to deny something to other people in a video game. As a Soldier with four combat tours, I don’t care how the enemy dies, so long as it decreases my Soliders’ risk of injury. This is a combat simulator. I want tactical nukes, napalm, cluster munitions, air-deployable mines, etc so I can simulate whatever I choose to. Bonus points if the napalm sticks to kids. :D
  2. Underwhelmed, I thought there would be more buttons to press. ;)
  3. Better to find these issues and fix them now. Good decision to delay release. My credit card will be here when the MiG-19 is ready.
  4. Is this going to get uploaded to YouTube without the annoying pop-ups at the top and constant stuttering? I made it 10 mins in then had to turn it off. While I can get past the twitch stuttering, the constant pop-ups of new subs was just too damn annoying.
  5. Fixed it for you
  6. I’ve been wondering this for a very long time!
  7. There has been nothing to indicate the AI Intruder will be released along with the F-14B. I wouldn’t expect it until later in the EA window along with the Forrestal.
  8. Give me a full-fidelity MiG-23MLA and then the Su-17, MiG-27 and MiG-29A and I’ll be happy! Now, back on topic... this is my most anticipated module and I can’t wait for RAZBAM to start work on it once the MiG-19 is out!
  9. Yes and no. The information needed to create DCS level SU-17, MIG-29 and maybe SU-27 is out there (current NATO countries flew/fly them). ED is based in Russia and THAT is the issue...they must conform to Russian law. Thus, no DCS access at this time to high fidelity “modern” Russian aircraft. ED has been tight lipped about this, but the vague hints dropped from time to time would indicate they still are trying to get approval to make “modern” Russian planes. Maybe one day.
  10. I think he meant JH-7. I too thought I remeber something about Deka mentioning a JH-7. Maybe just AI or I may be completely mis-remembering?
  11. Good call. I’d rather wait for a polished product then get something early which is not complete.
  12. Decoy: can we get a feature list, like the MiG-19 which shows what features/items are left to be implemented? This might help people understand your timeline toward completion. Thanks.
  13. I enjoy their videos. If I want no-nonsense info, I’ll go elsewhere. But I like their laid back jackassery and fun missions. However I’m not sure how whether or not they get a preview copy is anyone’s business outside of Heatblur and Cap?
  14. Looking good! Can’t wait to fly her.
  15. Them’s fight’n words round here pal.
  16. From Wikipedia (for what it’s worth): “Once launched the Sea Eagle is completely autonomous, with the flight and target seeking completely controlled by the on-board computer system which functions according to programmable options covering a large set of cruise, search and attack options, including a simple, pre-programmed 'point and shoot' mode that allows it to be carried by basic aircraft without radar, using targeting information radioed to the pilot from external sources or even visually located by him, with the missile's short minimum range assisting this. Other modes integrate with more sophisticated weapon systems and sensors and allow Sea Eagle to be programmed during flight by the parent aircraft using targeting data from the aircraft's on board radar sensors or via off-board data-link networks. 'Dog leg' routes can be programmed into the missile's computer to allow a salvo of missiles to arrive from different directions, saturating the target's defences. A twin-gyro attitude reference system, digital flight control computer and autopilot are used to give the missile an over-the-horizon capability.”
  17. Looks great. Any chance of seeing this beauty in an Egyptian livery?
  18. Hahahahahahahahaha! The broney crap makes sense now.
  19. You’re over-thinking it. “If we want to” in the sense if they feel it’s ready. NOT “if we want to” in the sense of closing shop and keeping people’s money. Heatblur’s track record of support and communication with the Viggen is pretty solid, and I’ve seen absolutely no red flags to warrant being worried about the F-14 being released. They’ve put the mark on the wall of no later than March 2019, preview copies have gone out to YouTube channels, and everything seems to be looking good for them to meet the March 2019 goal.
  20. Glowing AMRAAM always does excllent work.
  21. Check out Hoggit. There’s a thread in which ED states it will come out in 2019.
  22. Lol, triggered much? It was 30yrs ago, get a grip.
  23. “Better” comes down to personal preference. I prefer the R-13 because of the longer range and larger warhead. For me, the R-60 frequently requires 2x hits to bring down another aircraft. Some people like the R-60 because it is more maneuverable and they can carry more. Try both and see which one better fits your style of fighting.
  24. I highly doubt it, but if true, I wish the city of Fulda had the same tourism budget!
  25. Because they planned it to compliment their new F18 module/carrier. Plus it adds Iran for the upcoming F14.
