I am tuned to the proper UHF/VHF frequencies for Khasab but there's no reply from them. The AWACS doesn't reply as well even when tuned properly. If anyone can tell me what I am not doing or doing to cause it, please let me know! :joystick: FIXED: I have to set UHF and VHF Transmit bindings to make it communicate properly.

A fresh install of Win10 does wonders to fix all sorts of problems. It's worth it.

I followed Mover's formula here: GOHlC1NzpOU but my airspeed is less than what he said to go. The plane has no stores and ~5200# fuel; e.g., 144 + 20.2 = 164.2kts +/-. My airspeed is lower than expected with AOA slightly less than 11deg. The upside is that I landed lololo...

So this is a bug that ED knows to exist?

Attached TRK file does not in any way match what I just flew. In the live flight I refueled successfully and that was that. The TRK replay isn't the same as my live flight at all. :joystick: NOTE: I looked to see if this was already reported. The video started off as my refuel video until I realized the TRK was different. It's for reference in the event that you get something different when you play the TRK. Skip ahead to when I line up in the pre contact position.

Ok, so back to the pitch trim - is one click of pitch trim supposed to have the effect it does like shown in my video in my first post?

So in an effort to know more, if I put the velocity vector on the horizon line, the plane should stay put? It doesn't and my stick is ROCK steady with 1 DZ; there is a slight bit of drift up or down, very slight. It is incorrect to expect that a FBW system won't keep it at the commanded attitude? My instinct is to use trim to even it out. But that that's impossible with this one. :cry_2:

I made a video showing the effect the pitch trim has on this plane. My issues is that even one click of nose up/dwn pitch trim has what appears to be a grossly disproportionate influence on the plane's attitude. Here's my vid that I hope shows it: I made a shorter comparison video of the F18 to contrast the matter: The second video tells me my controllers are operating as they should. Needless to say that holding this plane in straight and level flight (refueling) is maddening since I can't trim it at all. I wonder if the real plane flies like this. I can't see that to be the case. Help!? :cry: :joystick: :book: :mad:

I searched up this subforum and did not see that this was indicated. If I missed it, delete this due to redundancy. The HCMS is showing in the right eye only using Oculus CV1 VR. Is it supposed to be this way?

I'm finding that the trim pitch trim is very sensitive as well.

I did a very fast test to compare. It looks like IPD 50-55 is good. What's really needed is a per-plane world scale adjustment slider for us VR folk. This way we can dial in each plane as necessary. Since there are many VR HMDs out there, it is a better solution than the kludgy force IPD hack we're using to do the same thing. QOL :)

It's a good idea. I would like to see the F-16 as a category in user files.

If you push on the CRS knob on the HSI, it will flash a "BRT" on it. That is for adjusting the HSI brightness (use mouse scroll wheel). The manual does not address this. Please include it. Thank you!

I use the default zoom in the cockpit and the "Spyglass" zoom for looking at objects in the distance. It would be good to have it on an axis to allow for variable zoom levels.

Thx Danny - perhaps you can tell me how to power on my TACAN? I can't find a knob for it or any reference in the manual to do it :/ BTW: LeftClick on the CRS adjustment knob makes "BRT" appear on the HSI for several seconds...dunno what that is. AND, the good news, rightclick and drag on the CRS knob will turn the heading indicator fast. Works on the other knob, too.
