Tried it a few years ago Didn't like it. It was hard to set up and had lots of issues. I'm sure it has improved a lot but I'm an old Dog:music_whistling:

just depress the button you are using to select Jester (key is A) a second time and it disappears 609: thanks for your assist. Frees up a 8 way button!!!

I'm feeling stupid because I can't figure out how to use the Jester AI. I have the Opening command A assigned to my Throttle and Commands 1 to 8 assigned to my 8 way hat also. I fly using an Oculus Rift. I have selected the special option for the F14B so that my VR "lights up" where on the Wheel I am looking. So say I am Looking at slice 3, do I use my 8 way hat to select it? or should it be selected if I look at it for a period of time?

Pilot Position in VR is too far forward and makes it nearly impossible to access Oxygen switch etc.

I have been having problems with the last few updates with download speeds. I am connected via Shaw Communications which has excellent Upload and download speeds. The deltas on todays update were extremely slow in uploading and the torrent download is progressing normally. Anybody else seeing this. If time zones matter ie bigger client load, I am in PST zone

turns out is was quick to download and I had saved my Input files so easy to restore my missions and settings. I was amazed that it only took 50 minutes to download a complete fresh install, including modules and Maps :thumbup:

Guys: had a windows 10 failure and so have to re-install DCS. I have my DCS files on a separate ssd drive so it was not wiped when the C: drive was during the re-installation of windows. If I point the installation exe at that drive will it use the files there rather than download them?

I do not have the VKB connected to a powered hub, my warthog throttle and crosswinds are and are not experiencing any issues. I have re-installed the VKB software. I am getting an exception warning sometimes when I exit the vkb software. I also can not reload my saved profiles either so have to set my profile up again

I'm using BlackBox GF MCG Pro Ver 1_94_Bvk, VKBDevCfg-v0_88, and Zbootloader C v1-15 Are these not the most up to date?

Phantom button presses in latest version of software back in a big way. Many buttons lite up and it takes several resets to get them all out. It is happening now every 15 20 minutes. Real Pain in the backside. This this still being looked at?

It has to do with the brake lever. Apparently people were have issues with their aircraft veering to the left? when using the button. Apparently hiding the axis (8) stopped this from happening

dburne: got it to work, Thanks for the assist:thumbup:, only thing I couldn't find was how to hide the axis?

dburne: I have read and re-read your posts many times but there seems to be several steps missing, at least to my poor old eyes :huh:

Snacko: had another look on the VKB forum and found the posts, Thanks! I have done the brake lever, but having problems about hiding the axis? and converting the gate control from 2 axis to 4 buttons

Snacko: Any chance of you doing a tutorial on how to do those assignments such as button on brake lever and turning the gate control into a four way button. Thanks in advance

So we are limited to using AGM 65G? Is this accurate to real Harrier?

I have the slight loose grip as well. l tried tightening up the recessed screws but was afraid to put too much force on them because I saw a report on the internal VKB forum from a guy who broke the head off one of the screws.

I had an ongoing issue with my Gunfighter base. I would get intermittent occurrences with the joystick not responding, and the light on the box going from green to red. I discovered back in January that there was an issue with the connection from the joystick to the motherboard inside the base. I reseated the connector and it started working OK, but it appeared to me that the wires to the base were a little too short and therefore put tension? on the connection. All good until three weeks ago when problem started again. Contacted VKB North America (rrohde) and opened a ticket. After running some software tests rrohde got me a new base which arrived yesterday. It appears to be working right. My experience with VKB North America has been very positive. You should contact VKB and open a ticket if you are having ongoing issues.

I have tried it as a Slew axis but find it very awkward as the fire weapon button is also on joystick also and my memory muscle is having issues (i'm getting old) With the slew on throttle it just seems more co-ordinated with both hands being used as per just right hand, :P

I use a super wheelstand pro setup that I plug in every time I use it (daily). :music_whistling:
