  1. It's Abu Dhabi. Go to 8:41 in video. They are flying over Al Futaysi island. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2016841/Al-Futaysi-island-Hamad-carves-2-miles-long-sand-visible-SPACE.html
  2. It's not. Its an F-15, 18th Wing, and that is Kadena Air Base in Japan. Foxtrot to runway 23R. You can even see the Red Arrows on the taxi way.
  3. This will help narrow it down some by eliminating as many units as possible. Some units history is very difficult to find and some units are attached administratively to one group but deploy with another. Marine Corp Deployments.rar
  4. With it being a Carrier group and different units most likely performing the same tasks, isolating 1 squadron would be difficult. However if you can remember which version of the F/A-18 you saw providing CAS then you can further narrow your search. VFA-11 F/A-18F VFA-32 F/A-18F VFA-37 F/A-18C VFA-105 F/A-18E The Wiki also has it operating in the Adriatic Sea, Location Split, Croatia 10 June 2010. Interestingly enough it has it operating 7-9 July in the Arabian Sea with Winston S. Churchill, FS Jean Bart(D615) but no location. So it was sitting off the cost of Pakistan and in the Persian Gulf from 7-9 of July 2010 till 1 November 2010. Hopefully that fits your timeline.
  5. Doing alittle bit of research. You're looking for F/A-18s that where deployed on either: USS Dwight D.Eisenhower 2 Jan 2010-RTB 28 July 2010 ( Part of CVW-7 & Carrier Strike Group 8 ) VFA-103 VFA-143 USS Harry S. Truman 21 May 2010-RTB 20 December 2010 ( Part of CVW-2 & Carrier Strike Group 10 ) VFA-11 VFA-32 VFA-37 VFA-105 Those are the units that I can find information on that puts them on those carriers at the correct time. I went through each unit separately but the information is fairly incomplete and taken from wiki so take it with a grain of salt. I was unable to confirm the other two squadrons that were aboard the Eisenhower during the 2010 deployment.
  6. It had to be the second pass, it felt alittle off on release, but 2 shacks out of 3. I'll take that.
  7. I have a very similar setup. 1920x1080x3 + 1920x1080 under the center monitor. What I do is run the 5760x1080 in DCS in Eyefinity but Windows sees the other monitor. I use UltraMFD to drag the MFDs to the lower screen and then Helios to put the gauges on that same screen. It prevents DCS from rendering a higher resolution then needed. EDIT: I also use the 3 monitor config by PeterP. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84266
  8. A 4770 only has a dual memory controller and would only have 4 dimm slots. So unless you are running 4x 16GB ECC UDIMMS which are fairly rare. Part of it is sorta of true. It has to be written into the game specifically by the dev in order to use it or it can still use AFR.
  9. It was great fun gentlemen. pYlot did a great job with handling the ATC even though we overloaded him at the beginning. lol Looking forward to the next event with more ATC and hopefully a slightly longer flying time. I was in fuel conservation mode from takeoff and still had 8,050 lbs of fuel remaining in my A-10 at shutdown. :)

    Mirage F1 Poll

Not a very detailed list of difference in loadouts and specific features.

    Mirage F1 Poll

Can you explain the different versions and where they would differ?
  12. A-10C US 5+ Hours.
  13. Those have been on there for a while. There is also a Wildcat on the contact page.
  14. Turn TSSAA off. What motherboard do you have? Try shutting off 4 cores and overclocking as far as you can go on the remaining 4. Try to stay 1.488V or less while under load.
  15. This?
  16. In the first livestream everyone saw the F-5E and the X29 on the bottom which got alot of comments. This stream it was removed. Atleast the logos were. :) Not sure why there are 2 F-15Cs.
  17. Saw that too. Cant wait for the new 29. Hopefully a clickable cockpit will find it's way into the 15, 27, 29, and 33 down the road.
  18. Fine, I'll admit it. I tried really hard to look at the screen but there is a P-40 and a Clipped Wing Spitfire in the background. :megalol:
  19. You could try subcontracting the job out and doing a few prototypes then a small run to make it financially viable which should help to pay for a better setup.
  20. It works the same way the the A-10 and IL-76.
  21. No Problem. I have just over 5 gig of flight manuals for various aircraft currently and I'm still pulling more.
  22. Hopefully This works correctly and allows users to download them. I tried and it worked without being logged in. 23. Somebody needs to put up the "Please Take My Money" Picture. So Cobra, how do I pre-order this.....? :)
  24. Looks like the IRIAF has been actively flying F-14s even after the fall out in 1978. It was assumed by many that lack of spare parts would make the aircraft useless. Fly over with F-14 present: APR 20 2014 http://theaviationist.com/2014/04/20/iran-stages-massive-aerial-parade-with-f-14-f-4-mig-29-and-several-other-warplanes/ F-14s being overhauled to extend service life until 2030: Mar 01 2015 http://theaviationist.com/2015/03/01/iriaf-f-14s-overhauled/
  25. Cobra, put a pre-order in place. Set a price, provide a way to receive money, and we shall buy.
