  1. Here you go: http://rapidshare.com/files/200906494/DCS_Martink.pr0.html
  2. Nice Idea! Could post it on the Simmod forum as well, they have a section for mod-ideas! http://simmoders.com/index.php?action=forum
  3. Make sure you haven't mapped the slider in your Saitek software. Other than that I did it excactly how you describe it. options->axis commands->select zoom view, click add, move slider, done
  4. No idea but sice we are at it: How do you satisfy LA parameters by manual override?
  5. Page 3-107: FPL Sub-Mode, item 25: Distance from aircraft position to route terminal point, calculated from current ground speed Guess that last part needs to be deleted Also: 27. Required amount of fuel for flight from aircraft position to route terminal point, calculated from current ground speed I guess the amount of fuel is calculated using the time calculated based on the current GS (item 26) but it is not clear if it is based on measured fuel flow or manually entered fuel flow
  6. Thanks for the mission MT. Unfortunally I get 4FPS once I enter the combat area! Guess I need to upgrade to Vista to put my E6600 to some use!
  7. Sure it has been asked before but I'm not going to read the 48 pages of this thread! As far as I know wear and tear is not modeled in BS. I personally would love to be able to fly the same chopper throughout a campaign and see the effect of how I treat my aircraft over time. Similar to the approach of A2A simulations and their Accu-sim technology: http://a2asimulations.com/
  8. I got used to six by now :D
  9. Su-25! Great news!
  10. I recently bought the X52 and am very pleased with it. I flew with the CH Fighterstick before and I think both sticks are very good. It's the throttle that makes a big difference and the extra buttons are more then welcome in BS. Of course you can buy a whole CH combo as well but that's quiet expensive. TrackIR = absolute must have in BS! Pedals: I know many who fly without them and use the twiststick (i.e. on the X52) or a slider on the throttle instead. I love my pedals though! I always recommend the simped pedals: http://www.combatsim.com/htm/dec98/pedal-hoff.htm http://www.dhs-electronic.de/homeeng.htm Outstanding quality and very precise!
  11. About the monitor: No clue! About the 2nd PC: Check the other multi-monitor threads. You don't need a second PC I guess.
  12. This is a good backup if the radio has failed or no ATC is available. But It is only correct if the wind hasn't changed since the PVI was programmed I guess.
  13. Thanks for sharing! I always like to understand the systems I'm "using" :)
  14. LOL! Good one!
  15. Very well done Ivan, thanks a lot. That's exactly the write up I was looking for all the time. All information condensed and carefully sorted. It is really hard to understand how all the systems interact and IMO it is not very well explained in the manual. P.S.: Sticky +1 :)
  16. Oh, and since we are at it :D: I remember that it is somewhere said that ABRIS and PVI-800 operate independently from each other (I think it is in the manual). But when I select a target point on the PVI-800, it flashes on the ABRIS, right? Does that mean that the PVI-800 is coupled with the targeting system and the targeting system is coupled with the ABRIS? So the ABRIS and the PVI-800 would be coupled indirectly?
  17. Think it's 18k
  18. Watch the producers note on navigation, it explains the update process quiet well. Have fun.
  19. Thanks for sharing. And I like your nick :) Merry Christmas PS: Just realized that this is my second post after frequently reading these forums for almost two years! I'm really surprised! Let's see if I'm more talkative in the new year :)
  20. On Page 1-3, the picture discription: Should it be "in operation" rather then "in operate"? I'm not a native english speaker though.
