once you saved a control profile, next time when you are going to load this profile, you must set up the original controls that was used when saving this profile before reload it. otherwise loading this profile will totally ruin the control settings in dcs. i was just ****ed up with this and it had happened in 1.00 and this time 1.01. i thought you ED guys mean save the whole configuration to one profile but now i think that saving function just saves the selected control device's profile. and dcs seems to be unable identify different devices when loading a presaved profile. currently dcs treats my keyboard as a joystick, when i tap UP key the stick in ka50 just go straight to front end, and same as DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT key to their direction. sorry for my English but you guys really should fix this hell in the next patch

yesterday i updated to the 1.01 patch, while loading the mission, a dialog pop up and asked me for an activation. then i select retry or reactivation or something, and finally it said activation successfully or something and then i was in the cockpit. what's up with this?

yes, my motherboard supports AM3 CPU and i don't care about 1066 :D

i want to upgrade to this chip considering 95W TDP and the performance gain without having to buy a new motherboard anyone use this say something?;)

i found that DCS generate buildings in a very low efficent way, even i7 965+4850 will be sucked up when camera looking at urban areas. hope ED will find a better way to show those buildings soon. and for the ka-50's self-casting shadow, i thought maybe you should use larger textures for it. i tried use 128x128 res shadow texture in crysis and found the same ugly jaggy shadows

i have a simulate problem i have two ViewSonic VX2035WM displays and when connected to ATi cards they all got no signal input. i have tried catalyst 8.12 to 9.6 drivers and they all won't work

maybe your eyes' brown so what you see is brown?;)

if my salary rose up high enough, i could just buy as many copies as would like to.

i suggest you wait for the Lynnfield i7 for its better performence and lower platform price, coming this september

yesterday i just tried DCS on a i7 965 platform, with 6GB DDR3 1333 and 4850 1GB, 1440x900 res(other displayers have problem with the ATi card), all maxium with 8xAA+16xAF. the performance is super good, framerates never be below 30:P

no case at all. totally naked:P

just tested a Phenom II X4 955 BE and 4890 1GB system:P didn't run any benchmark for DCS cause i don't want to waste my activation:P nice system but the video card is toooo hooooot:P playing some games now:P

my current job is doing pc hardware benchmark, everyday there are lots of video cards and cpus in my hand i really want to test how well DCS will run on those different specs but also i don't want to waste my activations. neither of my boss will allow me to spend tens of dollars just to run 8 different benchmarks and then have to buy a new one. or will you just make a 30-day-trial like many other company's products? it's so pitty that dcs doesn't even have a demo
