It had nothing to do with it being on a standalone version and it was not a meltdown. Many of us were pissed off that were were not told before we purchased the module that on release day we would have to download a third version of Dcs taking up another 25-35gb of valuable space on our hard drives. With Alpha, Beta, and release it took up over 130gb of space. It was the piss poor communication and on the last min them saying oh btw it will only work with beta was the problem.

I think you guys just need to let this thread die.

Yep no luck still not getting the emails. Created a support ticket but the ticket disappeared. Guess it got closed without being answered. ANyone have a way to contact ed without a support ticket? Seems no one wants to get this resolved.

Because not everyone wants to run beta no matter how easy it is to do so.

yes it is. I get some of them, just not all. I get maybe one or two a month. Some months i dont get them some i get three.

I am wondering if the weekly ed news is emailed every week. It seems hit or miss if i get it or not. It is not filtered by my spam and no clue what is going on.

The main issue is the lack of full disclosure. Waiting till two days before release to tell everyone, by the way we said we would release this on certain date, but hey we are only doing it on beta. That's what's upsetting everyone. If they would have said that from the getgo, it would be a different story. I tried that program for easy switch and for some reason it would not work. Got errors every time, so I had to install a third I stall of dcs. This takes up precious hard drive space. Maybe I don't need stable version installed. That has yet to be determined as of yet.

4k 100 hz is not worth it right now. Nothing can really handle it. Your monitor really depends on what your current system is pushing it.

That is very flawed thinking. not everyone wants to run the beta version and not everyone wants to switch back and forth between the beta and stable version. All the modules that were early access and beta stated so. Viggen stated launch on January 27th for full price.

We get bonus from Belsimtek, Razbam, Polychop, and ed stuff, but we don't get bonus from Leatherneck, VEAO, or AvioDev. I just not sure why if we purchase from the dcs store all studios dont build bonus monies.

I also was going to pass till I saw the videos that came out recently and wound up purchasing the pre-order. Man this simulator is by far the most expensive game I have lol. Between all the modules minus the c-101 and hawk and all the hardware, I have spent a ton of money in the past couple years.

Just to chime in here. Congrats on your upgrade. This is not your case, but if you are still running an x58 system, you will not see a huge step upgrading to the newer mobo and cpu. From x55 to x99 you get maybe 20% from the results I have seen. Those running x55 have a great chipset still and can score a xeon 6 core chip if their mobo is of qualitry and get amazing oc potential.

Did some upgrades to my system such as ram, cpu, and gpu recently, and now that I have finished it I wanted to go into dcs. Now I am stuck into an activation loop. Each time I try and load either 1.5 or 2.0 it makes me activate all my modules again then closes after activation. Never goes into actual game. I have tried a repair on bot with no luck. Could use some suggestion.

Razbam had a team working on it. Posted pics and everything, then on Dec 19 posted that it is no longer an option for them to do it and it has been cancelled. No one knows if someone else is making one or if it is just not possible. Only time will tell.

Looks amazing. Man I want a full module and not just a mod or skin.

I am still quite confused about the differences between the different spitfires we will have in DCs. I preordered one already, and would love to know. I guess I am trying to decide if it will be different enough to throw down another 50.00 for the same type of plane. So what will some of the differences be betw3en the ones we get?

No its not an option currently where I am at and I am not sure how much longer it will be. At least 4 months if not longer. I will just keep trying. I wish the torrent would pick up once interrupted, but it will not work like regular torrent. Its the connection and not a firewall. It is a government connection and i have no access to the router or other things other than my pc firewall.

I am having a hell of a time downloading the Nevada map. Internet is not so great and the torrent client always cets part of the way through then os out and keeps counting. Go to htp then I will loos connection. Is there a way to get the trackers so I can use a torrent app like utorrent like the good old days and download what I need? Its a 25gig file and I just cant get a good enough connection stable long enough to download the whole thing and I am getting tired of having to start it over.
