Here is another video from the 132nd Virtual Wing running CAS training. We called it OldSchool-CAS. No targeting pod, only unguided rockets and free-fall bombs. The CAS pilots contact JTAC Warrior and get a situation update, then the CAS mission begins. During the mission, another player with Combined Arms installed logs in and starts controlling the opposing ground targets (unbeknownst to our JTAC), which leads to a battle on the ground between the CA player controlling the red forces and our JTAC who is supported by the CAS flight. Hi all, I have a question. According to the English flight manual, page 98, you edit the file <game directory> \Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Cockpit\Scripts\Devices_specs\Radio\R_828.lua to set radio presets for example for the FM radio. So instead of having it stored in the miz file (like we do for A10C presets) every pilot needs to have the correct luas for the radio presets? Is there no way of storing that in the miz file so everyone has for sure the same freqs available?

yeha what he said. Open TrackIR and look at the camera view, there should be 3 green dots. Move your head and verify. Once you move to an angle where the LEDs are not properly visible, the green dots will turn red. Often times you can fix it by simply readjusting your headseat (when you look down and have problems, move the headseat a bit up for example). First thing you should do before tweaking profiles is adjusting the position of the LEDs and most importantly, the camera if that still doesnt help, simply make your curves steeper so you need less head movement

Hi I just saw this mission and would love to give it a try. A few of our guys got interested in the Mi-8 can I simply exchange the player (client) Hueys with Mi-8s? That should leave all triggers intact, no?

tempted to try it when I get back home. Question, I cant seem to get moonlight to connect to my iphone6 via usb, is there anything I need to do other than plugging it in? Im reading on USB tethering, but I dont see that option in the Iphone

Hi, Im not 100% sure which CDU app you use for the Ipad, but I use this one. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dcs-a-10c-cdu-aap/id956722244?mt=8 I can, when I get home tonight, post my export.lua which includes all required entries for Tacview, Helios, Universe Radio and the CDU app, all you need to do is put in you Ipad IP.

Silly question, I cant find the manual for this product, anyone could post a link to some good reading material? For example, I cant figure out how the FM radio works, I manage to use Victor, Uniform and Hf but not FM

Im pretty sure thats how its supposed to look, there are fields and irrigation in desert areas too. Fire up google Earth and look around some areas in africa, the fields there look like above (I do agree it looks like a texture error, but same thing in real life lol)

its probably a bad habbit, but tbh, I always use TAD mode in EXP1 only. It gives me best SA since it is always oriented north, and I regularly glance at it and move it ahead to have my plane visible on it at all times.

Wir verwenden keinerlei AI Haben momentan eine A10C, eine KA50, eine JTAC und eine ATC Staffel. A10C Staffel ist soweit mir bekannt ist momentan geschlossen, aber die JTAC Staffel sucht und bildet aus meines Wissens. Falls es Dich interessiert, wir fliegen Mittwochs immer Training und Sonntags Training/Kampfeinsatz um 2000h Deutscher Zeit. I recently somewhat learned for fly the Mi-8, love it! Did not practice weapon deployment yet, just flying. So how did you make those targets explode, with a grenade launcher? I did not see how you aim it on the video?
