  1. Yeah I recently updates. Will roll back and try again :)
  2. so I tested, it looks like a great program and exactly what I was looking for, but it doesnt work on my system unfortunately. FPS go from 65 to 30 and I have like 20 seconds delay on the exports. I also unplugged my USB monitor, same thing. Guess its not compatible with some components. Im running 2x GTX970 in SLI in case that helps.
  3. alles klar! Drücke Dir die Daumen und wünsche viel Erfolg mit dem Bau! :)
  4. Ich frag mal ganz vorsichtig an, hast Du zufällig vor noch so ein CDU Panel zu bauen und zu verkaufen ? :)
  5. Great, thanks for your helpful reply. I will have time to set it up tomorrow probably and will report back!
  6. Hi, I have a question. Did not go through the entire thread, so I aplogize if that has been asked before. Right now, for the A-10C, I use the following setup: 3 monitors to display the main game window, plus a 4th USB screen that holds my MFD, RWR and clock exports via Helios. Works like a charm, but the downside is that in order to make the display exports to work, the game has to render the screen size of all 4 screens, not just the 3 main screens. My question is this, using UltraMDCD, I could then render only on the 3 main screens, correct? Before I go through setting it all up, did anyone compare it on a similar monitor setup and could tell me if I could expect a noticeable performance increase using UltraMFCD?
  7. just... wow!! awesome, I will definitely look into this
  8. Hi, I totally feel for you. Im quite new to DCS myself, and when I started, I could never figure out how the hell people could even see those ground targets. Now, I still struggle, but I am getting much better. It really comes down to practice, eventually your eyes learn what to look for. dont give up! :)
  9. well said. I just sent a beer your way. ;) Thank you so much for your efforts, I greatly enjoyed your campaign and can't wait to see more from you in the future! All the best, Entropy
  10. Great work, Chuck! Thank you so much o7
  11. Hahaha brilliant
  12. I will definitely check it out, thanks!
  13. this is awesome, I definitely want to learn how to make missions in DCS. Thanks a TON for making those videos, I will for sure watch them! Cheers!
  14. Bookmarked. Thanks a ton!
  15. Completely agree with the above
  16. Hi, I also use GTX970. Here is a post that helped me a lot with FPS: taken from this thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=142979&page=3 Also, disable the mirrors, you dont really need them, at least in the A-10, and it will net you about 10FPS. Also, reduce the visibility on trees/bushes. Let me know if that helps.
  17. NECK, that was a great event, thanks for all the work you put into this! Cant wait for the next one!
  18. GrepP youre a star man! I read your post and tested, I can confirm. When I disable AF, I gained a good 20 FPS! THANKS! (from 40 to 60)
  19. I tried Boar flight yesterday, first task worked nicely, back to IP, AWACS gives me coordinates for another JTAC I contact them but they reply with no further tasking available you may depart. I had no option in the F10 menu to end the tasking, so the mission was essentially stuck there. One remark I started the session in SP. would that cause problems?
  20. WOW! awesome
  21. if there is any chance you can get your hands on a SSD drive, I can totally recommend that. A huge performance boost not only in terms of load times but more importantly completely eliminated any stutters for me. Other users confirmed that. You can just copy over your install, or you can simply do a clean reinstall, your module licenses will all be carried over no problem
  22. not sure, but iirc, you can easily find them in the 'HOTAS' subsection of the key binding options in game. should be named like HOTAS MIC Forward etc
  23. Hi, I use 2 GTX970s in SLI and I did never notice any FPS drop upon gun employment. As davidzill said, the clusterbombs do produce heavy stutter also for me, but FPS return to normal when the explosion effects are gone. one thing that helped me a lot (but probably is not related to your case?) is to actually move my DCS install to a SSD. Before I did that, I always had slight stutters upon rapid view panning and angle attacks. SSD was the biggest performance increase for me tbh and completely got rid of any stutters
